This docking unit is quite versatile, it can clones like NVMe's as a standalone device or it can be connected to a computer and presents the drives as storage for diagnostic or cloning (Clonezilla) needs.Easy and simple to use and it does it well.1Tb NVMe took about 10 minutes to clone. Must have similar NVMe's and better to have the same products otherwise the standalone cloning process will fail.Note: NVMe standalone cloning is fast and furious; the drives were very hot (skin scorching hot) when cloning was finished.

Highly recommended for cloning an existing drive and dropping the new in as a direct replacement; the cloning process is as simple as plug and press then watch the progress lights. Cloning was fast due to the transfer speeds offered by m.2 drives and while the instructions said the device would heat up during use, I did not find the heat to be in any way excessive.

The media could not be loaded. The M.2 SSD drives in slot 1 (Source) and 2 (Target) can be read when connected to a windows or Mac machine and even after a format. However, the cloning does not work at all, formatted or not - Same drive size etc. The SSD drives and dock gets really hot that you cannot touch them, or you will get burnt.

A great device would recommend. I’ve only used it to clone an exiting ssd to a new one, but it was much faster than doing it via a PC. I think it took around 5 minutes to clone the new SSD.Once it’s done leave the SSDs alone for a bit as they’re hot to the touch.The instructions however are awful. One sheet of paper with multiple languages on it and very tiny writing. It also states to hold the button to start cloning for 5 seconds and the LEDs will light up. It’s much longer than that. So keep hold of the button until the percentage lights turn on then release and press the button again. The percentage lights will flash in sequence which means it’s started.

I bought this item to clone a ssd drive and expected the process to be quite complicated. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. It worked straight out of the box and even more surprising, it did it in double quick time. The process was so simple in fact that I thought it couldn’t have been that quick and simple. It was! I thoroughly recommend this product, it really does do what it says on the box! Just one criticism, the instructions ate printed very small, in fact I needed a magnifying glass to read them. On the other hand, it was so simple and intuitive that instructions are superfluous!

I use this to create system images. I have one Nvidia SSD and one AMD SSD both on 128GB NVME drives. I can then put a 1/2TB NVME drive in slot 2 and press a button and copy a windows install with all the drivers over. it takes roughly 5 minutes to do what used to take me 45 even with an answer file on a pen drive

Bon produit construction solide en aluminium lourd et stable. tous les accessoires sont fournis (câbles et alim 220). 2 ports sata et nvme testé pour ma part avec des 2to max je n'ai pas plus grosLe principal atout de ce produit est le bouton on/off pour moi. J'en ai un autre qui fait aussi nvme et sata sur 1 port sans bouton on/off moins cher mais c'est pour depanner en extérieur. ceux qui veulent brancher des ssd régulièrement ne veulent pas brancher débrancher de l'usb

Dopo aver acquistato una memoria / hard disk, Fanxiang SSD 1TB NVMe, ho comperato questa docking station per poterlo leggere, ma ho subito ripiegato, a tutela fisica della memoria, su un case a guscio, tipo Orico. Mettere in verticale questa unità (cosa che invece non accade con i dischi SSD da 2,5” molto più solidi e realmente utilizzabili in una docking station a due o più slot), offre un’idea di scarsa affidabilità e sicurezza per i dischi. Un urto accidentale, potrebbe infatti “tranciare” il disco, stante il fatto che i connettori NVME per la lettura del disco sono davvero fragili. In sintesi, questi dischi sono ottimi, sia per velocità che scrittura (anche in rapporto al prezzo), ma è meglio utilizzarli - nel caso si vogliano impiegare come memorie di massa esterne per lo storage dei dati - con questo tipo di scocca, piuttosto che con un lettore a slot che obbliga a mantenerli verticali. Poi, avevo capito che avesse DUE slot, entrambi compatibili NVMe, ma in realtà solo uno è compatibile con questo standard, mentre il secondo non lo è. Pertanto, usando spesso “in parallelo” le due memorie (una per i dati ed una per il backup), sono rimasto spiazzato. In sintesi, se decidete di come late queste belle memorie “flash” il consiglio che vi do è di NON ACQUISTARE questa docking station, ma di ripiegare su lettori a guscio tipo Orico o similari. Cosa completamente diversa, invece, per i dischi SSD da 2,5”, che possono essere agevolmente - e con grande praticità - montati su lettori docking station, a due o più slot. Ovviamente, avendo usato entrambi i prodotti (sono un fotografo professionista ed uso diversi dischi di questo tipo), parlo per esperienza provata.Luca Chistè / Phf Photoforma

On ne peux pas lire 2 disques M2, donc pas de clonage possible.Les embouts USB/M2 font donc la même chose pour 7fois moins cher.

Praktische externe M.2 + NVMe M.2 Station. Ohne Software, 3 USB-C Kabel, 230V Netzteil, deutsche Anleitung. Leider ist nur einer der beiden Steckplätze für NVMe M.2 SSD geeignet. Direktes kopieren von zweier NVMe nur in der Station ist nicht möglich! Geschwindigkeit beim Übertragen von PC zur Station zu Anfang über 100MBit/s sackt dann ab auf 5 bis 30 MBit/s. Ist sicherlich auch abhängig vom angeschlossenen PC. Software zum Duplizieren eines Datenträgers ist nicht dabei, auch nicht zum Downloaden. So etwas muss dann separat erworben werden. Das Ganze natürlich aus chinesischer Produktion. Den Preis von 79,99€ finde ich etwas überzogen.

Adapter funktioniert super. Wurde auch nach Stunden im Dauerbetrieb nicht wirklich warm. M2 Festplatte steckt aber nicht fixiert in der Halterung. Also nicht gegenstoßen beim Auslesen.
