Prada Eau de Parfum Intense Deluxe Refillable Spray, 1.7 Ounce

The first time I caught a whiff of this fragrance on a friend, I had to have it. Describing a perfume is as tough as wine, but there are a few words that fit perfectly...spicy, rounded, seductive. Not floral.Unfortunately, it is the first perfume I cannot smell on myself a few minutes after application, however, we girls always know a fragrance is a winner when strangers ask what you are wearing in the elevator. I took the bottle on a trip and sadly it leaked all over my bag, so now I have a fabulously fragranced bag. Just be careful with that. The atomizer is retro and fun, with a fine spray.

I was excited to find this perfume online at this price after getting a small genuine sample of the perfume. Although the packaging looked good and it came sealed, a couple things were just "off" to me. First, the color is not the same as my sample of the product nor the product as it is pictured in the ad. Second, the smell is not as subtle as expected and has a "harshness" to it(maybe an alcohol-like smell?). It smells "OK", not terrible, just not like the sample. I have to say I thought it reminded me of my mom's old Jean Nate perfume. This set off a curiosity that got me googling "Jean Nate perfume" and seeing the yellowish/green color of it, I am no longer sure that what I am holding is the real thing.Bottom line--to avoid doubt in the future, I'll just spend the money and buy it at a department store.

The media could not be loaded. NOT A KNOCK OFF! the packaging is nice, and the box is clearly really PRADA. I love the scent, its warm, spicy, classic, Egyptian, sexy and just plain worth it. I added a video review of me opening it and experiencing it for the first time (i only smelled the paper ads in mags, and carried it around in my purse for a month before buying it!) my favorite perfume is COCO Chanel mademoiselle, but because I don't see a trustworthy seller of Chanel I bought PRADA when it was on sale and I am not disappointed. The two are not the same of coarse, but they each have some similar scents in them. COCO Chanel Mademoiselle is more chocolaty.
