These have the excellent quality that I expect with Onieda. This brand is superior in wear, weight, and luster; they are made to accent your table with a bit of class for years. I have wanted this pattern in gold accent for a very long time, but the price kept me from purchasing. These are absolutely worth the budgeting to buy. I was lucky and was given an amazon gift card for a special occasion, so this was what I bought to commemorate it. I tried the competing very similar looking brand in the complete set, but they felt light, the gold looked thin and had an off tone in real life. Get the Onieda version!

I found this silverware years ago and it has really been the only silverware I have coveted. I mean, who cares very much about your utensils other than can I readily eat with them and will they get clean without rusting? This set is different. I was singularly struck with how beautiful they were and somehow they struck a chord with my aesthetic sense and my penchant for knives and tools. However, the set I found available at the time were ghastly expensive and I just couldn't pull the trigger on the deal. While I was searching for a deal that would work my wife took it on herself to find a similar set and buy it. In my eyes, the set she got was a pale imitation, but what could I do? So I shelved my urge to get these for several years. Fast forward to this month though and with her set dulled by time and some drops into the garbage disposal, I found a five piece set of this Michelangelo Oneida silverware and ordered it to get her reaction. She was actually rather stunned with how nice they looked and expressed what I thought... they are beautiful. So there it was, the open door to purchasing the set. Done. They are bright gold, heavy and sturdy and very elegant in my opinion. The pieces are slightly shorter than their cousins they share the drawer with, but are much brighter, sturdier and infinitely more pleasing to the eye. I am well pleased to finally own this set.

I bought these to replace my old ones for holidays, they are beautiful and will look nice next to my holiday plates

I use this silverware for everyday use but it looks great with fine China dinnerware. Guests always compliment the beauty. The price is fairly high but on Amazon they had one seller that ran a sale price which saved about $200 on a 16 piece set.

Tarnished almost immediately after removing from packaging.Gold rubbed off when polished lightly.

Purchased as a gift, hopefully it was fine. We bought Oneida set for my our house few years ago from Lenox it’s still in a perfect condition

I like the design. What is lacking is that the gold finish is just on one side of the forks and spoons. The backside is silver so this looks a bit tacky. Very disappointed with this lack of detail!!!! This makes them look a bit cheap in my opinion. The front side looks quite stunning, but the back side should be just as good!

They are beautiful. I am using them for every day but following the cleaning directions closely to keep that beautiful finish. I am going to order another set.
