It would be interesting to know what kind of experiences this author had before writing this book; manufacture of flash powder is covered with a dubious process that may or may not lead to catastrophic results up to and including death. But maybe I'm being overly cautious.The rest of the book is heavy on somewhat ambiguous diagrams which may or may not have been tested-there are few if any notes to back up results of these designs.Maybe I'm missing something, but I'd say this is one I would have passed on if I'd looked it over at a book store.

Putting potassium perchlorate and aluminum powder in a blender is a terrible idea.
