It's a bit of an odd use case, but I bought these to use as sleeves for my circular saw bits. It was a bit of a long shot, but they were inexpensive enough that it was well worth it. These work surprisingly well for that. I've got my saw blades all hanging from a peg, and these jackets keep my blades from banging into each other and causing damage. I've tried a few things, and what I've ultimately settled on is buying jackets slightly larger than the blades you intend to put in them. The first ones I bought were sized exactly the same as my blades, and getting them in and out was a bit of a chore; turns out, the teeth on a saw blade don't slide nearly as smoothly as a vinyl record. My 10-inch saw blades shredded the edges of a 10-inch sleeve after only a few insert/removals. A 12-inch sleeve is a bit too large for a 10-inch blade, but it still provides the right protection and is much easier to get on/off, so I've been using those.

Our basement flooded and most of the original album jackets in my collection from the 1950’s - ‘90’s were ruined. These were the least expensive replacement jackets I could find, but were also the most durable.

I love them very secure for my albums.
