Stella & Chewy's Lamb Dog Food Dinner, 30-Ounce

Our standard poodle is a picky eater. While these are not her favorite, among the freeze-dried raw foods on her rotating menu these are well-accepted, and that's saying a lot.I like the fact that they are patties, so it's easy to put out a standard portion for her. And to my surprise, she seems to prefer them dry. Since we live in Hawaii, where roaches and ants are always vigilant, I would rather not have wet food out that isn't wolfed down immediately. Feeding it dry works very well for this dog. (And of course her water dish is always available, and the water is changed twice a day.)

As soon as I get the package out of the freezer (the only safe place to store it where the cats won’t hunt it down and shred the bag open to get to it), everybody comes running. Dogs and cats both. They LOVE this stuff. Great quality ingredients. I wish the bag had a Velcro close rather than zip close. I have a difficult time getting it resealed quickly. (When you have everyone staring at you most impatiently to serve their dinner!)

The overall product is absolutely fine, it's advertised as 30 oz, and what actually arrives are two 14 oz. bags, so I was a little disappointed with the false advertisement.

We add this to Archie's dinner. He loves it and we know it is good for him.

Wonderful supplement for our three doggies, which we crumble and add to their healthy kibble, with a little water...
