Nice bag with similar features as others of the same ...
Nice bag with similar features as others of the same design with different names on it but at a much lower price. Bags like these have all the "tacticool features" for short weekend packs or something you want to leave in the trunk of your car for emergency supplies. But make no mistake, if you have ever used a real back-country backpack (Marmot, North Face, Artyrex, Mountain Hardware, etc) actually designed and meant to carry a large load for 3 or 4 days you will understand quickly why those packs are so expensive while these come in around $40 - $70?A few pros, cons, and unknowns however:Pros- Value. Keep in mind the value for the price. I don't expect this bag to last as long as my $400+ Marmot or North Face expedition bags that I've had for decades that have carried tons of weight with zero defects to date. For $70 buck I'll be pleased if this bag last a few years before a critical failure.- Removable side pouches. The reason I got this pack over the same pack sold under other names. The side pouches are great to pack stuff in that you may want to drop off the side of the main pack. They remind me of the Marine Corp ILBE sustainment pouches that are impossible to find. *NOTE, the quick connect buckles will not fit an ILBE main or assault pack, I tried it on mine and no joy.But inside, the pouches fit stuff like food (each pouch will easily fit 4 intact US MRE's), spotting scopes, change of clothes, even a two man tent, hammock system, etc. It really gives you the option of just taking out the pack by itself or strapping on the two pouches and doubling your carry capacity, then ditching the side pouches at camp or leaving in the car, whatever. They attach to the main pack via built in clips that clip in to the main packs existing synch straps. They also have several large belt loops stitched into the pouch allowing you to carry it on your hip via a belt if desired. Also the pouches are an exact color match of the pack, something I was worried about before ordering.- Good internal organization and pockets for some smaller items like pads, pens, etc. Most backcountry packs are just big open pockets for large items all broken down into smaller stuff sacks. Good for carrying big things like tents, sleeping bags, and cook kits for a multi-day backcountry trip. But for a bag in your car meant to carry a bunch or emergency supplies you need more and better organization.- Webbing and straps on bottom of pack to stow extra gear like a sleep pad or tarp. But like other strapping they didn't give you very much to work with. The manufacture was really trying to save a buck on strap webbing.- Chest strap quick release buckles. These are great to quickly ditch a pack in an emergency.- Even color of material, webbing, and buckles. May seem a personal nit pick but some bags I've seen have a big mismatch in materials that just look like crap. This one is even throughout.Cons- Waist belt is only big enough that it barely fits my 10 year old 65lb nephew. Its probably only big enough for a 30" waist rendering it useless for 90% of most adult males. The belt itself is only 2" webbing so even if it fit its not helping you transfer the load to your hips like on a real pack. But it is removable so you can ditch it all together.- Load adjustment straps (straps at top of shoulder belts) are two short to be reached with pack on your back. The whole point of these straps is so you can adjust the CG of your packs load while its on your back and you are on the move. As they are they are they are to short to reach with the pack on.- Pack is to short in overall length to make it useful for a waist strap. On an adult male of average height the waist strap is around the top of your belly.- Like nearly all of the "tacti-cool" packs this one has zero consideration of an internal frame or stays to keep the pack rigidly formed to your back shape. I have 15+ year old Marmot and North Face alpine packs of similar size and they all have aluminum stays to give your back something rigid that will form to your back shape, but keep you from feeling every odd shaped item in the pack digging into your back. Even the USMC ILBE assault pack of similar size has a plastic board to do the same thing. But that pack was designed by Arcteryx who also makes very good back-country packs.- Top of pack has a water bladder exit flap cover but they didn't cut a hole for the bladder under it. also there is no dedicated hole or hanging strips inside the pack for a bladder. So you are stuck with the pocket right against your back which sucks as a filled water bladder sits in the center of your back and is very uncomfortable having a semi round item running the length of your back with all the contents of your pack pushing on the same contact point. Reason why name brand packs have those internal frames, and boards. Also water pocket does not have a drainage grommet and is not water proofed so your bag will just suck up any leaking water or condensation and transfer it to the rest of your pack and its contents. It won't fully fit a 3L bladder as the top 1/4 of it will sit out of the pocket.UnknownsDurability, its hard to say at the moment how well this pack will hold up to use since its still new. Over all the quality "appears" well, but I can see where a few areas of poor design that are common failure points on these packs. Especially where the shoulder straps meet the top of the bag. The straps just go into the bag and are stitched over. And given that 100% of the weight of a fully loaded pack is going to be held up by a total of 4 inches of strapping at 2 points with no support from a waist belt is just a recipe for eventual failure. Also who knows how long the zippers will hold up as well. My guess is that since most of these bags are coming out of the same factory but get a different name slapped on them it will have the same failures as other reviewed bags of this design in time. But given the price if it holds up for 3 years it will be worth it.I'll update it in the future with comments on how well its holding up, or when the first defects appear.Overall for the price I'm pleased and would/may purchase another.

Good value for the money - could use some improvement. I like it!
This is a solid backpack for the money. I have more than a few bags in this size class for family preparedness solutions (i.e., 3-5 day get home bags for regional travel) and I'll list the pros and cons on this backpack compared to a few others I've tested.Pros:The bag is constructed of thick, tough denier nylon material with above average stitching including the stress points. The zippers are heavy duty and very smooth, and so far have been trouble free even when the backpack is overpacked. Plenty of pockets and storage space especially with the side pouches. Straps are long enough to adjust to taste before slicing off any excess or using bands/tape to eliminate flapping ends. The side pouches remind me of sustainment pouches on USMC rucksacks. They are big enough to hold an MRE in each, and probably two in each pouch if you strip them down. Yes, there is room for more in the form of energy bars, smaller freeze dried pouches, etc. If I pack carefully I can fit about 4-5 days of food into the pouches plus left over storage space in the pack. I had to adjust the pouches a bit to get them to rotate back away from my arms - I don't like walking long distances with anything that rubs against my arms or skin. The adjustable pouch straps worked out just fine for this purpose.I'm a somewhat tall guy at just over 6'1" and I had enough adjustment room on the shoulder straps to make the pack ride comfortably. The belt has plenty of extra length to adjust for customers with a few extra pounds. I'm going to estimate anyone with a 48" waist or less should do fine.I'm able to fit a load that would easily get me through 3-4 days without too much discomfort. This is perfect for me as my standard use case includes being stuck in one location or walking home over a 3-5 day period during a major crisis event in a moderate climate. Please note I'd choose a slightly larger pack if my use case included harsher winter weather but I live in the southern USA so I don't need to carry bulky layer clothing for most of the year. I have a larger pack for this purpose. One thing to keep in mind is the main compartments in this pack are very "flat". They hold a good amount of kit and clothing but you're going to be packing as if you were creating a layer cake. This is a potential con if you are planning to carry anything really bulky like a rolled up jacket or poncho. These are better off rolled up and carried via straps on the outside of the pack. For the record I figured out how to get everything into the pack without it looking like it was going to explode but it was a change from a dump style pack with a larger main compartment I had used in the past.Cons:The straps on the bottom of the pack are good for rolling up items including a light weight sleeping bag or tube tent. They will not reliably carry anything heavy/bulky. Anyone planning to carry heavy items would be carrying a larger pack anyway. My biggest MINOR gripe is the waist belt. Belts on packs serve two purposes - provide stability by preventing awkward shifting of the bottom end of the pack while moving, and also highly desirable weight bearing capabilities to allow heavier packs to settle on your hips instead of your shoulders. I would have REALLY liked to see wide, padded side panels on the belt instead of just a one piece thin nylon belt strap. This would allow for better load bearing capabilities and help to eliminate any discomfort of the belt digging into your skin through thinner clothing if you load the pack down and it rides above or on your hips. It would cost a dollar or two in extra production costs for these padded belt panels and I'd certainly be willing to pay for it. Frankly it would have made this pack a tremendous value for the money and a 4.5 star pack. As it is the current strap is ok but my use case doesn't have me using it for more than 4-5 days. Also, if you plan to use the side pouches and need very rapid access to the pack's main compartment then this might not be the pack for you. The straps holding on the side pouches go over the zipper for the two larger compartments. You can unzip those compartments about half way down but you'll either need to umclip the pouch straps or loosen them to get the zippers the rest of the way down. To me this wasn't that big of a deal because it only takes about five seconds to do this; if I was carrying a defensive weapon in my pack like a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 I'd want quicker access. This is a minor gripe - the pouch straps as designed allow for eliminating annoying movement as you can tighten them down as much as needed.Overall I like the pack and am not going to return it. It will be given to one of my teen kids for their emergency pack and it'll do the job of getting us home very nicely. My bottom line is that the pack was well worth the money and the next option up seems to be a Maxpedition... with little additional benefit for the cost difference until you get into the Falcon series packs. I'd say go ahead and buy it if you don't want to spend the $200 or so on a best in class tactical style pack in the same size class.

Semplicemente perfetto. Straconsiglio

A great backpack
I needed a backpack that could fit everything I need on a day at work (I spend all day out walking on site on my own so I need to carry anything I may need for at least 6-7 hours) and to be a good fit to use on my motorbike so I was initially looking at more expensive bike packs, but I decided to give the Seibertron Falcon a chance and I am glad I did, so far it is holding up really well and has fit everything I need to carry with plenty of space for more.It has plenty of pockets, organization and even the option to add more via the MOLLE system. I bought the one with the extra side bags but haven't used them yet although they have quite a bit of space in them, but I mostly just needed bottle bags attached as I usually have a bottle of pop and a water bottle on me for work. The bag is well made and appears strong and sturdy, and I didn't find any issues with stitching or anything. It also feels really light and steady on my back (once you get the straps setup right) while on the bike which was a bit of an issue I had with my last backpack.I haven't tested the waterproof claim yet and I agree with others that while the material may be waterproof the zips are not, although I do have a waterproof cover that fits over it nicely for heavier rain so this is not an issue for me really.

Looks the part but very disapointing item
This pack looks the part, but that is where it ends! It has 2 bad faults in its design, the first one is, the zips on the main compartment go all the way down and under the bag so you can open it flat, which may be useful if you want to empty your bag in a hurry, but is a real headache when packing it, as the zips keep sliding down and the contents keep falling out!! The 2nd fault is the shoulder straps, they literally slide out of the buckles and the pack fell off my back and hit the floor!! The buckles do not grip the straps, and the straps do not have any "stop ends" to prevent them from sliding all the way through the buckles! Very poor design, needs re addressing!

Ultra convenient
A great great bag.The external removable pocket system is the real game changer. I prepare my pack with level 2 element of my bob inside these external addendum... this way I can decide what level of comfort I want to carry or If i want to travel faster just drop these side bag and cut drastically the weight of my kit.I bought 3 of these for my familly. The one for my daughter is ligther and the beauty of this external attachment system is that I can easily transfer and attach her pounches to my backpack to save her some efforts! The pounches can also be attached together and transported on there own... their are so many options to combine them that it is dazzling!
