I received a ripped cover. The info is questionable.
The copy that I received had a ripped cover. The book talks about Paul going to a school taught by strict old women who would bop children on the head with a stick. I wonder how they obtained those kinds of details. It seems questionable. This series tends to add a lot of strange commentary that is unnecessary from what I have seen so far.

Purely awesome book!
I really like this book because it gives you a lot of facts about Paul Revere before and after, you guessed it, his midnight ride on April 18, 1775. I think people that want to dig deeper into his life will enjoy this book a lot. Happy reading, and as we say in my hometown, don't forget to be awesome! ;)

Perfect for biography reading lessons and report writing in 3rd/4th gr
I bought these for my third grade classroom. They are great for the biography genre and then to use for report writing. The three years I've used them so far the kids LOVED them. Easy for their reading levels, informative, and people they have heard of in their lives. They would read their own and then read other that they had heard of. Could have left these books out 1/2 year and they would have still been reading them.
