Works great for filling knots. I use the darker one with dark walnut and it does well. Color is very dark. Dries instantly with activator, but stays liquidy while you work with it. For surface level cracks and holes, you can just apply and sprayed. For deeper cracks and holes, you need to apply thin layers and spray in between. The activator won't reach lower in the hole and this can create cavities and soft spots until the glue dries.
