referencing between cards and booklet
It's a beautiful deck. But on the basis that it's neither cards nor its booklet has each corresponding number for reference to each other, the pictorial images on the booklet needs to be more recognizable.

Beautiful and Accurate Hwatu Oracle for the West!
I'm 2세 (second generation) Korean-American and have been doing Tarot personally and professionally for over 17 years. Though I've lived in Korea for six years, I'm not fluent in Hangul, but Korean culture has always been a big part of my life in America.I've always wondered if there was a Cartomancy/Divination form of Hwatu (aka Hanafuda in Japan), but due to my language limitations, I couldn't research this on my own. So I was very excited when I discovered Prime Muse's Four Seasons Hwatu Oracle with a bilingual guidebook featuring Korean and English! The cards are a pleasant mini size. If you have other Asian, Lenormand, or pocket decks, you'll find this to be a similar size. The smooth matte finish also makes it easy to take no-glare photos for friends and clients! The cardstock and magnetic flip box are solid, like what you'd except from an expensive Kickstarter! The gorgeous red gilding on the card edges is an extra detail I love! Since the cards are smaller than the inside of the box, I'd recommend wrapping the cards in a cloth or little bag just to prevent any wear to the gilding over time. The English in the guidebook isn't great (it's excellent in their The Secret of the Kingdom Oracle), but I had no problem discerning the meaning they were trying to convey. Each card has two pages, Korean and English, detailing the card's imagery and meaning. Since this deck doesn't have card numbers like their other two Korean Oracles, you'll have find the black-and-white image in the guidebook to read about the card. That being said, I was able to do readings purely on Intuition as well. The art is a fantastic expansion on traditional Hwatu imagery with additional details to make the meanings pop!I definitely recommend this high-quality deck for anyone interested in Korean or Hwatu imagery! On a final note, I'd like to acknowledge that whether you're full Korean, mixed Korean, or a Korean adoptee, you are part of our culture (if you choose). I also invite everyone to celebrate in our culture whether or not you're Korean!

Beautiful but not beginner friendly, with no card flexibility
Very beautiful with the red gilding but not beginner friendly and with little card flexibility. There were spots where the gilding was scratched off when it arrived and the images, while very pretty, were not very crisp. I personally like my decks to have a bit of wear and tear for some personality, so that didn't bother me.A major issue for me is the card stock. Feels a bit like cardboard, though still very sturdy. Matte finish with little sheen. However it isn't flexible at all, and any bend of the card will be creased. Overhand shuffle only! (Reference image: Bent typical card stock of Lo Scarabeo vs Bent Hwatu Oracle info card)The guide is in Korean and English! There are no titles or numbers on the cards themselves, so you have to find the meaning of each card in the book but checking each page, which is not convenient at all. If you want to read with this deck, it requires a deep study.Still a fun and pretty deck! In my opinion, if you can dedicate the time to study the cards and their meanings then this deck is much more entertaining to read than Lenormand.

Confusing
The illustrations are nice but the whole deck is very confusing without any numbers or names on the card, and the guide book is in black and white with very poor quality of pictures. Basically, I will have to go through every page of the guide book to find the meaning for each card I draw, let alone the illustrations in the cards are quite similar which gets even more confusing! I am debating if I should return it.
