This is a great light, but make sure you get the high-CRI version. The 6500k cool white version I tried had a green tint to the light. It was very uncomfortable to use / look at.The high CRI version is much easier on the eyes.The size is great. Easy to keep in a pocket or even on a keychain. I love the dual-battery feature. Makes a great emergency light.The glow in the dark body doesn't glow for very long, but it is useful for finding the light in the dark if you're using it off and on for brief periods of time.I ordered both the UV and red versions of this light. I noticed some difference in the tolerances for the size of the AAA battery compartment (the battery fit tighter in one than the other) and the battery compartment latch (one was tighter than the other), but this didn't take away from the functionality of the product. Neither battery latch was too loose.The UV light on the E7 is pretty much only good for charging up glow in the dark materials (including the body of the light). In a very dark environment, you can use it to check currency, but it's not great. The UV lights on my A8 and A28 are FAR brighter and more effective for checking currency and IDs. I wouldn't recommend this light if you're planning to make regular use of the UV light.

Wonderful little keychain light that packs a punch might be a understatement. After getting used to the unique two button interface it really is quite simple in operation and does everything it does rather well. The auxiliary battery system is a very nice feature when recharging the internal battery is not convenient ir unavailable, I have been using a 104400 lithium ion rechargeable cell to keep the output up to the levels as when using the built in lipo cell because if you use anything less than that the output is a good deal less than the rated potential. Not really a complaint with the light itself but the one I received was missing all the accessories that were supposed to come with it and the vendor was quite responsive to taking care of the issue but did so at their expense because of offering to just send me the missing parts but instead offered to send a whole new light package, due to my time restriction I opted for a refund instead which was well beyond what they needed to do so great service on their part. Iv been using the light since without them and don’t miss what i never ha. One thing i believe could be changed is to add the capability to recharge the auxiliary battery via the includeD USB Port and get rid of the strobe feature in favor of slower beacon style flash.

Update: I gave this 5 stars in my first review, and now give it 6. Mine had a slight defect that ended up becoming a hairline crack. I msg'd the seller and they responded immediately... My dumb bunz forgot about it for 2 months, then emailed some info they needed and they express shipped the replacement. Absolutely TOP TIER PRODUCT AND SUPPORT. Please enjoy the rest of my original review. *8)Despite all of the features, it didn't take long to figure out. I usually carry a tiny CR3032 that's the size of two stacked quarters, but I wanted something that throws more light. This throws a great beam that's not too focused, and the warm light color (4000k) gives things a more natural look and isn't as harsh as cooler LEDs.I'll update this when I try the 265nm light on some of my mineral samples. I'm not expecting much, but it would be pretty slick in a pinch if it works.

Firstly, I love Rovyvon lights. This product is excellent in all areas excluding the durability of the outside casing- I bought two of these, one for a gift- mine has a crack on the case by the usb port, which has only grown with ring pieces of plastic coming off exposing the inside electronics- this has been on my key ring since new with no memorable drops- sad to see it fail in this manner, and now it will be set aside, leaving me to carry my G30 instead- which has a highly durable casing

Whie this is my first RovyVon, I like the brightness and flexibility of the light. I initially got this to replace my old Solitaire pocket light. After a week of carrying the RovyVon, it turned on in my pocket 3 times. So, as n EDC it's a no go for me. On the other hand, I now keep it in my Get Home Bag. The flexibility of dual fuel is perfect in emergency situations.

It’s really a good EDC flashlight for short term use. On high it uses a lot of power. I’ve had one as an EDC for 2 months.

Small light with a lot of capability. Moonlight mode or VERY bright. I love the “dual fuel” tech and the side lights (and you can choose the color). Quite small for what it is. Too big for some to put in a keychain but easily goes into a front pocket. Not being a traditional round flashlight is helpful too.

My only issue is the clasp to open for a battery is very stiff.

Extrem funktionale, kleine kompakte Lampe. Bietet viele verschiedene Lichtmodi welche für mich durchaus alle ihre Aufgabe super erfüllen. Ich habe mich für die Variante "blau" entschieden, und bin mit der Entscheidung mehr als zufrieden. Die Lampe ist fluoreszierend und leuchtet dadurch gut und in einem sehr gefälligen blau-grün Ton, besonders nach Gebrauch des Blaulichtmodus, nach. Die Abstufung der Lichtstärken der verschiedenen Lichtmodi ist super gelungen.Einen Stern Abzug erlaube ich mir dennoch. Dies setzt sich zusammen aus je einem halben Stern für den doch nicht ganz so güstigen Preis sowie einen halben Stern für die Abdeckung der Ladebuchse. Diese lässt sich nicht, oder nur mit viel Gefummel öffnen, wenn der Halteclip montiert ist. Dieser Clip sitzt einfach zu dicht an der Buchse.Fazit: Da ich persönlich gerne etwas mehr ausgebe wenn ich mit einem Artikel dann auch viel Freude habe, würde mir die Lampe jederzeit wieder kaufen uns spreche daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung aus!

I use it mainly as a work light when fixing things and it’s more than bright enough for most jobs, the spare battery is ingenious and great for backup. The secondary lighting mode where the light itself glows is also amazing I usually have it in my pocket so it’s hard to loose it but if you dump it in a backpack and let the case itself absorb a bit of the light it glows for hours making it impossible to miss. Very rare 10/10 product that imo exceeds itself
