Boldify Root Boost Spray - Root Booster for Hair Volume - Volumizing Foam and Lift Spray for Fine Hair Texture, Root Lift, Stylist Recommended - 8oz

I have fine thinning hair. I already use the Boldify serum and thickening spray which I also love, but this product offers great volume by creating support at the base of the hair shaft. This results in my hair not falling flat an hour after styling prevents separation that shows my part, so it creates the illusion of having more hair. My hair also keeps its body through the next day. I just run a fine damp comb through it to revive the style and am good to go for another day without having to shampoo daily. I've tried it applying it two ways, on the roots only and then combing it through the hair afterward for additional texturizing, but my preference is applying it directly to the roots, massaging it on the scalp to maintain the shine, silkiness, and pliability that the serum and thickener provides. Combing it through makes the hair stiffer which I don't care for. Some have asked about how it sprays out. After shaking well, it squirts out in a fine stream to where it is directed and foams a bit, but it is not quite a mousse. I blow-dry my hair with my fingers to obtain a "piecy" look. It's also reasonably priced so I will definitely be reordering it.

Boldify products are great for those with thin hair. It gives lots of body & fullness. The mousse, the hairspray, & hair texture gel. All extremely work well together to make sure one with thin hair, like myself really do make a huge difference in we ladies in styling our hair. If you have thin, or thinning hair, I highly advise that you try the Boldify shampoo and the body lift serum, which would be used based on the length of your hair. My hair is short, so it takes very little serum to run my fingers with it through my hair . I then use a roll brush and as close to the root as I can get roll my hair around the brush as I am drying it. You will immediately notice your hair being lifted and with more body as you continue to roll and dry your hair. 😍

I use Boldify products daily and at first, this was my least favorite. I'd been using the serum at my roots before I blew dried and it worked great. When I first tried this, it was really sticky and made my hair feel clumped. Then I tried again with less and it worked brilliantly. I had so much volume! Better even than the serum. The only critique I'd have for the company is to work on the way it dispenses. It def. comes out strong, which is why I added too much. Def. work a try but use it sparingly and on the back of your crown (not on top of your hair). It adds massive volume and texture.

The product itself works very well, but the spray nozzle is a nightmare. The directions direct you to mist the product on your roots. Mist?? What comes out is a stream, like mousse, and lands in a blob. I've tried everything -shaking the can longer, clearing the opening with a pin, running it under hot water - still the same stream that gunks up my hair.If, and that's a big if, you get it to spray properly the lift properties are awesome. Not sure it's worth the risk of what usually happens that results in making my freshly washed hair feel greasy.

The best styler in Boldify line up. Previous Hair Thickening Spray was a close second which I used for traveling since it was not an aerosol. I’m looking at other brands to find a good replacement for that Thickening Spray as the closest new Boldify product is very disappointing in every way and offers no lift or thickening. My Boldify root lifter is beyond amazing. My hair is naturally blonde with increasing white. The root boost leaves it shiny, soft, fat and full, and looking clean. Today I have third day Root Boost hair and it’s full And shiny clean appearing. The product does not sit on my scalp and does not flake off . The volume and manageability amazes me every time I comb or flip it with a finger. Unlike many stylers, Root Boost does NOT break down and look slick or greasy. There is no smell to it. It is the perfect child !
