These shears are beautifully designed and beautifully made. They come separately packaged in their own cases with black leatherette on the outside and red velvet on the inside. If you wanted unique tools that stand out, these are perfect. The blue finish is gorgeous.I found them a bit on the hefty side. The blades are thick. They feel durable but definitely heavier than my favorite set. I love the dragons on the handles but the decorative elements add extra weight and one of the dragons has a really sharp tooth that protrudes. Some parts like that one will need to be filed down for safety. The blade sharpness was an issue for me. They're just not as sharp out of the box as I like. They cut. But they don't quite glide through hair. I tried them on my husband but they will need sharpening before I really use them.Compare to my favorite set, this set is more expensive, less sharper, and heavier.I really wanted to love these because they are stunning. However, for the price, I expected them to out perform my existing set and they didn't.If you love the design and don't mind the extra weight, these might be for you! But do consider the cost of sharpening as part of your initial investment.

These are definitely very high quality shears, both for cutting and thinning/layering. They’re gorgeous, I LOVE the colors and the design, they’re super unique! I am NOT a professional, but I’ve been cutting hair for my family since I was 16, and I learned about halfway through that long timeframe that having high quality shears is absolutely worth it in every way.These are very sharp, precise and accurate. My last pair has been dull for quite some time now…long enough that I forgot how often I used to cut myself with them. These reminded me, lol! Try to keep your knuckles out of the way, bc finishing a haircut with scotch tape around a bleeding knuckle is not ideal!The dragon design of the handles is stunning to look at, but it can get a bit uncomfortable against your ring finger while using them. It also adds to their weight, and they start to feel heavier as your hands get tired.The cases are awesome, I’ve never had any type of case come with haircutting shears before! They’re high quality, durable cases that each set of shears fits in separately, and there’s a loop with a button snap to secure them so they don’t slide out of the case and land on the ground, which could damage them. The interior red velvet of each case is such a beautiful contrast with the colors of the shears themselves.These are absolutely worth the price, I’m very happy with them. They’re not without flaws, but none of said flaws are a dealbreaker for me…and if you’d also be ok with them, I very highly recommend these!

These are really a nice quality. I love the blue color. Also I love that they come with both scissors and thinning sheers. I use them both. They are sharp and cut well. They come with nice storage cases. Overall a really nice set.

The blue dragon design is super unique and adds an extra pizzazz ~ I've personally not seen.There's separate cases for each included.The cases are lined with a velvety material and fitted with a sleeve and button to keep them from shifting around.They fit perfectly in the hand and have a nice, clean chop, both in feeling and effect.Split ends be gone!These would be an awesome graduation gift for the cosmetology student in your life,if you are looking to spruce up your kit, or if you're like me and prefer to cut your own hair and want to make sure you're working with the best tools!This is functional art !I have never owned a pair as nice as these. I would definitely recommend these if you are a hair stylist, they fit perfectly in your hands and feel very nice.They glide thru your hair , making the perfect cut and layers.This will definitely up your game in the styling arena.

These are no joke professional scissors. I cut my own hair and these were just what I was looking for. Other scissors I’ve purchased in the past have always let me down and dull quickly. These scissors are no joke sharp cutting through hair like butter time after time. I am very happy with how well these cut. The scissors are also very well made and durable. Mrs. Carl here, these are the most beautiful scissors i have ever in my life owned! i regularly cut hair in my kitchen, and am by no means a professional, but.. these are very nice scissors! if you have a hair dresser that you particularly love, these would make a beautiful gift! they are very nice to hold (right handed only) and the weight of them is fantastic. they are very sharp as well and cut like a dream. i am very impressed with them. my only wish is, that i could find a matching metal comb, and yes, i will be searching far and wide for one.

I’ve always wanted a professional set of hair cutting scissors and I finally found it on Amazon! The quality of the scissors and cases are made of long lasting materials. I am left handed and find the scissors to be most likely fitted for a right handed person - I grew up using right handed scissors so hopefully I can get accustomed to using these. I’ve cut my son and daughter’s hair at home since they were infants - I’m thrilled to use it for their next cut! 🥰
