Summary:I have installed this base and two remote sensors. The temperatures displayed appear to be accurate within the specified limits compared with other thermometers. I can not verify the humidity readings as I do not have anything reliable to compare to.Ordinary setup (without the alarms) was very easy.It came in a box that was easy to open and not in a blister pack that requires the user undue hardship.I highly recommend this unit.Detailed stuff:This unit works very well. I did not need three remote sensors, but the reviews were almost all good and the price was reasonable. Compare that to some other perhaps better known brands (at a higher cost), those had too many negative comments. So I bought this unit.Ordinary setup is very easy. Setting alarms appears to be a bit difficult and the instructions are a bit confusing for that. I don't want alarms, so hopefully they are all turned off.One note on the instructions, the detailed instructions say, "To change the channel option on the outdoor sensor open the battery compartment cover, on the upper left side is a button." No there isn't. The channel selection is made by setting the three position switch at the top of the battery compartment. May be a no brainer for many, but I thought I'd mention it.Also the instructions say not to place the unit within three feet of electronic devices. My indoor unit is right beside my computer monitor and less than three feet from the computer. I'm not experiencing any trouble. Your results may differ.I set up the outdoor sensors (I set up two) under a bay window on the north side of the house so they are always in the shade and protected from other weather elements.Early this morning, before the sun could have an influence on the outside temperature, both outdoor sensors were reporting the same exact temperature. Comparing those readings with a personal weather station about a block away, all the readings, including humidity level were the same.At about noon, the personal weather station about a block away was reporting a temperature ten degrees higher than what my outside sensors were reporting. I often wondered if that personal weather station was inappropriately installed, having compared that to the remote unit I am replacing (a Radio Shack unit I have used for about 15 years). Seems likely.

I am using this product to monitor temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer sections of our main fridge, as well as a smaller fridge in the basement. For this application, it works great. No issues with the wireless connection to the remote sensors, even the one down in the basement fridge.The main display is easy to read at a glance. And while the individual remote sensors have their own displays, the digits are really small, and hard to read at a glance. Not a big deal to me though.As for accuracy, when I first unpacked the product, I set up the sensors side by side and let them adjust to the room's temperature for at least an hour, then compared the readings. Two of them were within 1 degree of each other, which I though was good, but the third sensor was off by a bit more than that. I wasn't super pleased about it, but the readings were close enough where I did not feel it was worth returning the product. The humidity readings were pretty close to one another as well.Considering the reasonable price and decent performance, I am pleased with this purchase and see no reason not to give the product a 5-star rating.

I recommend this handy bo-dandy device. I have one in the bedroom, the kitchen, outside in the deck and one in the basement. Works great!

I have an issue with companies sending out for a review the same day you receive the product. I was anxious to get the thermometers installed to go along with my new whole-house fan by monitoring the outside, garage, and attic. It has worked great and was easy to set up for the last 5 hours but, I would rather do a review after 5 months than 5 hours. Come on companies, get a clue!

When I received the first set, one of the sensors read quite a different temp than the other 3. Requested a replacement, swapped out eh receiver, and now it works GREAT for our RV (one sensor up front, one in the middle, one outside, and the display in the rear.

We have 3 freezers, and one is prone to interior coil freeze-ups (single door Frigidaire upright). These sensors work phenomenally well, reporting both temp and humidity from a central location on my desk, and it shows all three freezers in an easy to see display. Took me a while to program, but once I did, they show with high/low temp and humidity alarms. One freezer is upstairs (right above me), one in a laundry room 20' away, and the last in the garage 35' away. I also like that I can slip a zip-tie through the top and secure the sensors to the shelves. They use 2 AAA batteries for the sensors, and 2 AA batteries for the monitor. Price is outstanding too ($22.49+tax), a good value. No more worrying about spoiling food, I wish I had found these before.

Giving them only a few minutes to settle and stabilize after being delivered, I put new batteries in starting with the main display. Each remote sensor immediately synchronized to the main display and all four are consistently reading within +/- 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit and within +/- 5.0 % relative humidity. Very reasonable for the price.I highly recommend these if you want to monitor the temperature/humidity in multiple locations.

I wanted to be able to regularly monitor the temperature and relative humidity in my workshop, new log cabin and loft. The main unit sits in my upstairs office so that I can see at a glance if I need to switch on heaters or dehumidifiers in the outbuildings. The main unit also records the temp' and humidity in my office.I found the instructions overly complicated but the actual installation was incredibly easy. I simply popped the batteries into the main unit and then into each monitor numbered 1 to 3 - as I did this they each showed up on the main unit. I then placed each of the monitors in their relative building and checked to see that they were updating regularly. That was it - Job Done !!This unit enables me to see at a glance what is going on without having to climb up into the loft or leave the house - very useful when its dark or raining. I am sure that it will very soon cover it's cost by saving electricity as I don't need to leave heaters on ''just in case''. Monitoring the loft unit has already shown that our investment in improved insulation and ventilation is definitely paying off.The best thing of all is that I now feel I am in control of what is going on 24/7 from the comfort of my office.

Wir haben uns im Sommer ein Gewächshaus gekauft und aufgestellt und da sollte man ja auch die Temperatur kontrollieren.Deshalb haben wir uns dieses Funkthermometer hier bestellt.Es war günstig, schön groß und hat gleich drei Funksender.Es kam schnell und gut an.Und ist schnell in Betrieb genommen.Es empfängt sogar einwandfrei die Temperatur aus dem Gewächshaus durch die Plastikwand und eine doppelt-dicke Steinmauer und etwa 12 Meter abstand.Man kann alles prima ablesen und hat zusätzlich die Luftfeuchtigkeit mit darauf.Seit fast 3 Monaten macht es nun seine Aufgabe einwandfrei.Also gibt es nichts auszusetzen.Würden wir wieder kaufen.

Heute bekommen und überall angebracht. Draußen im Schatten und im Gewächshaus. Bin sehr zufrieden. Leichte Installation.Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen.

I wanted to know the humidity in my log store and outside temperature near the cars; does both of these jobs well, but the accuracy is a bit off as it doesn't agree with itself when you line all 4 sensor up on a table next to each other: they can read up to a degree different. I would think that there would be a way to calibrate them better, but don't know how.Wireless connection pretty good. Occasionally one drops out, but the re-connect when brought closer then seem OK still when put back in position.
