I find these pans to be useful for large family gatherings, to be used with chaffing dish heaters or electric warmers when lots of food is served.

You're probably reading this and thinking "ew, what?" But yes! These pans work GREAT as a cats litter box. Plastic litter boxes have a tendency to soak in the urine smell and holds that smell in. Metal does NOT. These are deep enough, wide enough and long enough - making them perfect cat size. We have 6 cats total, so we purchased this pack and lined them up together in our cats potty room. They are EASY to clean too. Please believe that these will NEVER be used for cooking. And will ONLY be used for my cats. 100% would recommend. For those looking for reviews about cooking, I can say that they are very high quality pans. 👌

We're using these trays as cat litter boxes in an animal shelter. Not the average use for them I suppose. But hey, they clean up nicely and hold up well under rigorous use. That should account for something!

These half pans fit perfectly side-by-side in the full steamer tray, allowing me to serve twice as many menu items for a gathering in my home. They were easy to clean as well.
