Cast Iron Nautical Anchor Hook Rustic Brown 5 1/4 inch tall

Let me start out by saying I pretty much buy most things on Amazon. I love it. Especially birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. I love reading reviews before I buy stuff (especially expensive things) because I like knowing what other people’s opinions are before buying something. I think they should do this in stores as well.So about birthday gifts... I wanted to get my brother a birthday gift about how he has always been an anchor in my life (he's always been a strong rock in the family) but I didn't want to get him too big of one, and I didn't want to get something cheap and plasticity, I wanted to get him something meaningful. This cast iron anchor was perfect and was exactly what we needed. This worked perfect! I'm so glad I got it! This came right away in the mail which is awesome. The shipping was fast and there was no hassle. It was exactly as the seller described, which is good because you are never sure if it is going to be accurate. I am very pleased and I will for sure buy from this seller again.

It's used as a decorative accent.

We found the first one we ordered a great hook for our lanyards and soon purchased two more. One was the same and one was the flat style that I now see some reviews seem to have received and are complaining it has no hooks. In looking at my orders I realized two of the times I purchased from DC Mach and they are the item as described, but the one I ended up purchasing from divineproducts was not angled out to be able to hang anything on it.

We ordered 3 of these for our nautical bathroom and they look great. Only thing was it didn't come with screws or anything to mount them, or else I'd give it 5 stars.

The best quality and HEAVY solid metal!!! Looks beautiful!!! I can't wait to hang this outside. I looks like the the picture. I was really impressed with this when I got it. I have this small space next to a window that the owners before me had something hanging and have been looking for 4 years for something the right size that matches my taste... finally found it.

If you're hoping for it to be functional, as in, actually be a hook, look elsewhere. Based on the reviews, some people received the item as pictured. The one I received lays flat; the arm and fluke of the anchor are not raised at all. It is cast iron and rustic looking, but not what I hoped for although I knew I was taking a risk. It is still a decent, decorative item if nothing else.
