My 8 year old Labradoodle has been on Dr Harvey’s Veg to Bowl all of her life. She threw up like crazy on every premium kibble I tried. Dr Harvey’s was a god send. I supplement the veggies with cooked chicken and other rotating proteins. It’s a daunting labor of love. However for the past several months she would eat all the cooked proteins but very little of the veggies. I noticed she has lost some weight.Then I saw this new Dr Harvey’s that includes the protein. I was crossing my fingers. When I opened the bag I thought what the heck is with these ground up veggies vs the chopped veggies she has always eaten. I was ready to call the company and complain. Boy was I mistaken. She loves loves loves this food. She eats every bit and wants more. I’m not sure what it is but the hydrated veggies smell wonderful. I’m tempted to taste it. I have a new 4 month old labradoodle who is on a premium kibble but she wants the veggie stuff so I put a couple of spoonfuls in her dinner bowl. When she is a few months older I’m going to transition her to this food.I see the 5 pound bag is out of stock and I hope it’s not being discontinued. If you’re not convinced buy the trial size. Your pups will thank you. Thank you Dr Harvey’s you knocked this one out of the park.

I wish I could afford to feed it straight but with the price of meat and then the price of Dr Harvey’s I can’t afford to feed all my dogs just this. I mix the Health base mix, and the chicken grain free variety and use it as a topper for their Science Diet 😊😊😊😊😊. Would be fine if I only had one dog but with 6 dogs I just can’t afford it.

The dogs still love it after these last 2 yrs. They get so excited. Very healthy for them and their coat is shiny and digestive track is good… no bad poops or horrible gas. It is expensive and I would dare worth the value, wish it was a bit cheaper but for now, it is what it is.

I mixed this up according to the instructions and it would not re-hydrate. It was like soup. I heated it up and it was still like soup. I refrigerated it overnight and it was still like soup. I was so disappointed because my girl absolutely loved the Healthy Weight chicken version we tried. And she is very picky! I was hoping she would like the chicken and garden veggies. But at this point it’s inedible.

I do like Dr. Harvey's products. I buy 2 Paradigm for my dog with Cushing's and Beef and Garden Veggies. Smelling it even makes me want it. But I thought I'd try the Chicken this time. It does not smell as appetizing and my dogs do not like it. One of them seems to scratch a lot after eating so maybe from the chicken.

We bought a bag to try and our dog loves it. We had other dogs visiting at Christmas and they all wanted some. Fairly easy prep. Just add hot water and wait about 8 minutes.
