This Thing Is A Beast! Yes, It Fits A Fluval Evo/Spec With A Mod
This little monster has massive output. I have a Fluval Evo 13.5g nano reef tank that up until now, had been running the DCS-1200. I was told this one would fit, of course like the 1200, needed a modification to fit. No big deal, I kind of tinker with everything anyway and who doesn't mod and upgrade their reef tanks??!!The output of this thing paired with the RFG nozzles I 3d print make it perfect to avoid the need for an additional wave pump/maker that just distracts your view from the occupants of your tank. It seriously woke up my SPS corals, and the 1200 was no slouch either. But this one, it's a lot more powerful. I probably could adapt things up slightly and design something like a dual 3/8" sized output and nozzle combo to open up the flow path more. Hmmmm, maybe I will lol.The only thing people need to be aware of when purchasing and operating a DC type return pump is the high-pitched faint whine. It is inherent in DC pumps as it's the way they work. Ambient room noise, fans, skimmers etc will drown it out. This one though, at first almost oscillated the sound as if it were ramping up and down. It eventually stopped, so I attribute that to the normal break-in period with all reef equipment. The fact you have such massive output in a tiny package, combined with feed mode and you can control the output without choking the flow and increasing the resistance on the motor like an AC pump does makes this a no-brainer purchase. I think I will upgrade all the pumps in my larger tanks to these as well. Now if Jebao would release a needle wheel version for skimmers. I would be all over that! 5 stars without question. Absolutely the best bang for your buck.

Annoying noises
Works fine but the random humming it does is annoying. Some days it's quiet then after a feeding it will ramp up and be loud again. Also surges sometimes. Feels solid with good parts but the motor is horrible. Bought the Jerepet to replace it and it's super quiet. Hopefully the controller issues don't get me though.

Received damaged goods
I've always been a fan of Jebao products. I was excited to try this on my new nano, but was delivered used. The package had clearly been opened and returned with no instructions and missing the power supply. Amazon was quick to send me another one that appears new and works as described.

Cant beat it for the money
Mine have run flawlessly since i got them. These pumps are so cheap I got two and run them both that way if one failed I had a back up. Only con would be is if you do use the feed mode they do ramp up and down in sound but I could not notice a different in flow. So I dont know if its just the sound the pumps made or if they were ramping up and down a hair. Other than that if you just let them go they will find their groove and have just a little low hum. When cabinet is shut cant really hear it and the display is in my living room.

Annoying noise
Purchased to use as a return pump for our reef tank sump. It serves its purpose and seems to work fine. We had problems initially with it ramping up and down but it appears to be staying consistent after a short break in period. My big complaint though is the noise. My husband has it placed so there are no vibration noises, what we are hearing is the engine making a pretty high pitched whine/humming sounds 24/7. My husband barely notices it, but I have good hearing and it is driving me crazy!

Questioning the flow rate!
Bought a Jebao dcs-2000 to replace my aging cheapie 12vdc 20w pump rated for 1200L/hour.Currently running the jebao at 100%, but the flow appears to be less than my old pump. Other than that, the build quality is good. While see how long the pump will last.

Long ship, but the pump is great
Despite some negative reviews I took a chance on this pump due to it being cheap, and Im glad I did.Mine was not defective and came with all parts. The pump is super quiet, and I’m shocked at the amount of water it moves with being such a small pump. The controller is accurate, works great, and has a nice long cord. Parts appear to be all good quality....... I cannot comment on longevity cuz I have only had it running about a weekI waited a LONG time for shipping. But if u can afford to wait a while, I would defiantly recommend this pump especially at its price (at the time of writing this review. Let’s hope it lasts)
