Bang for your buck is an understatement
I bought these because I wanted lightweight spd pedal with flat pins on one side so that I'd have a little grip if I couldn't get clipped in for some reason. Though there are a few component brands making something similar, none of them were as low-profile, and many were either out of stock and/or proprietary clip systems that I didn't want to switch to since my other bikes and peloton were spd. I couldn't find another pedal fitting exactly what I was looking for, but these seemed to check all the boxes. Since these were extremely cheap and I'd heard decent things about other Fooker pedals before, I figured I had nothing to lose. At worst I'd be out $40 bucks, and it could be a cool experiment to see if they could survive the wear and tear of heavy enduro riding.Out of the box they were beautiful. The bearings felt great and seals looked good, and they were extremely light compared to the shimano trail/enduro pedals I was running before. I was a bit suspicious of the spd hardware because it looked much thinner than other spd systems I'd used, and thought this could result in durability issues. Also, the machining was a bit sharp/square on some parts, but I wasn't concerned by this because they were only $40, and the finish was otherwise immaculate. After some adjustments on the trail in terms of clip in/out tension (which is required for all spd pedals and depends on rider preference), they felt great. They secured my feet on the pedals as well as all spds' I'd used before, and didn't show signs of any stress from heavy impacts and technical riding. Now, a couple of months later, they are showing no signs of premature wear or damage despite several rock strikes, and the bearings are still smooth as new. I expected these to be tolerable at best and hoped they'd survive long enough for me to find something higher-end, but they've become one of my favorite pedals and I have no intention of getting something else until they wear out. For those concerned about whether they're suited for trail/enduro mtb use, I can say without a doubt that this is true in my experience. I highly recommend if your looking for a compact, lightweight, hybrid flat/spd pedal.

Love These!
I got a new gravel bike and didnt want to keep switching pedals between flats and clipless. These are great. They seem well built and look great. The flat side is big enough and has a few cleats so that you dont slip while riding with regular shoes but also they arent too big to where it looks goofy on a road/gravel bike. The clipless side works well and its just nice to have the option between on one pedal.

Poor quality materials
I purchased these base I. Reviews saying they were nice. Literally the first time I tried to click in on them the mount on the front completely snapped off making it nothing more than a regular push pedal. They look really nice and are somewhat light but just not usable as they come without having to buy a better click in for the shoes. So if you plan to buy these expect to spend the money you saved on a nicer set having to buy new parts to make them usable.

Always enjoy having hybrid pedals, these look great they feel great. I did have to do some adjusting to tighten the clip.

Solid Hybrid SPD Pedals
I bought these not because I wanted a cheap knockoff of an existing product. I wanted a hybrid spd pedal for my road and commuter bikes and these are honestly the best out there aesthetically. Too many hybrid pedals are too chunky for road usage or not low profile enough for me. I love how sleek these look on a performance oriented road frame. Now I do have the FOOKER Chester knockoffs and have had no problems with them, so I felt good about trying these, though I was wary about the spd mechanism.Suffice to say I’ve had no issues clipping in. The action is crisp, though I had to wear them in a little bit, as they were a bit stiff to begin with. The flat-side platform is a tad narrow but at least they are long enough, which all comes down to the lower profile aesthetic which I appreciate. Perfectly fine for around town usage, which was my primary use case. I wouldn’t recommend them for a pedal wherein off road stability is of concern. I would direct you to the Look Geo Trekking Roc for the best hybrid pedal for off-road bikes. Also, don’t use one-sided pedals like this for actual mountain biking because it’s a pain in the butt. The weight on these is respectable. Not super light by any means but on par with most trail pedals with this form factor. An added benefit is that the machined ano aesthetic kind of calls back to when that was all the rage in mtb components.

Clippers are cheaply made not consistent clipping in and out
Performed worse and my 20 year old rusty shimano ones.

They broke
Bought these brand new for my commute gravel bike, today the right pedal spring mechanism broke, and the bearings on the left pedal went out. Not good quality. Would not buy again.
