My mistake, I didn't read the specs close enough. I assumed since I only need a three foot cord I needn't worry about that I was more interested in making sure I had enough current to power my desk lamp. It has the power but the cord isn't even three feet long. It works for my purposes but I would have though a slightly longer cord would make this more useful. I also a bit worried that if I move my desk lamp the adapter will come unplugged as it doesn't fit snugly. Probably will end up using some heat shrink to make sure it doesn't come apart since I will mostly use this just for this lamp.

I lost the original plug and this was a great replacement. My Bluetooth speaker functions exactly as it should- it actually came with several different size adapters. Great price too!

This 5V 3A adaptor serves well as AC/DC power for my camping fan/lights. It comes with an assortment of plugs for use in various devices.

I bought this for an old IP camera to replace its 2.4A original power supply that quit working. Unfortunately, this power supply wasn't capable to run it. The camera would blink its network LEDs in a cycle as if it was trying to start but then kept cycling due to lack of sufficient current to be able to finish its booting cycle and maintain it on. As is said, the camera was specified to require a maximum of 2.4 Amps which should have been no issue for this 3 Amp power supply, so it's either weak or it's overload setting kicks out below this threshold level. Either way, it can't really deliver even 2.4A.

Very good product with a good assortment of features and adapters.

Power cord is only three foot long making it almost unusable without an extension cord. Half the length of the power adapter I am replacing. Length of cord is not mentioned in the description.

For MY immediate need, I was after a 5V adapter to add power to a USB hub that was not powered, but had a receptacle for that purpose. I first odered a 30 amp that satisfied the need, at a higherprice, and but added the flexibility of variable voltage settings for when I needed that ability in other circumstances. When it arrived, I checked to see if there was an adapter included that fit the specific hub - and there was one that did. I then ordered THIS unit that had a fixed power of 5V and a lower amperage, made by the same company (Arkare) plus another adapter that fit my hub - and put the higher capacity model into my toolbox for the time that greater power, etc., were needed. (I could have sent it back, I suppose, but since U could justify having both, that's what I did. For background: I have a couple of other units from other brands, with multi-adapters included - neither had that specific adapter to fit my hub. There is a need for industry standardization here. The EU is imposing standardization in this industry - when are WE going to wake up to the need for it HERE in Canada and the USA?
