I did professional photography for several years and I'm still an avid photographer to this day. I have always done all my own editing and printing, and I have always used OEM inks. Aside from once, and the results were awful. These inks blew me away! The OEM Epson ink for my large format printer runs $160. This ink was $13 and I cannot tell the difference! I ran it through several tests, side by side with some of the same prints I did with the Epson in,(why not for $13) and the results were fantastic. I don't know what to expect for ink life from this set (Epson dye based inks are guaranteed for 80yrs), but for what I do these days, I'm going to stick with this ink for the foreseeable future.

first shipment contained a leaking cartridge, easy return and credit ,,second shipment arrive 100% intact and leak free. have printed several 8X10 since installing cartridges and picture prints have turned out error free and looking just as good as the Epson cartridges i used to order. quite the savings. will order these again.

I’ve been using these inks for about a year now in my Epson 1400. First the good.... the prints look identical to the Epson inks. But they’re so cheap that they actually make printing photos fun. Printing with Epson inks is kinda stressful since the cost is so astronomical, especially for larger prints. Now the bad... the prints sometimes fade in strange ways when exposed to air. I can see it in the stacks of prints I have in a drawer, where a corner of a print is sticking out and it’s gotten a reddish color. Yet I have other prints framed and they look perfect after a year. I haven’t quite figured it out yet. Also, beware of leaving the black ink in the printer if you’re not using it for a while. My nozzles clogged after a period when I wasn’t printing anything. The colors unclogged with a few cleanings but I couldn’t get the black to unclog. I finally bought Epson black and it immediately improved. Don’t let this ink sit around. Print your heart out instead without worrying about cost.UPDATE: I’ve verified that the problem is that the inks fade to a reddish color when exposed to air. Prints that are framed don’t seem to be affected. Here’s a picture of two prints. One was sandwiched between other prints and the other was partially exposed to air. You can see the print turning red. Downgrading to one star.

Great Ink for everyday printing. Only have had a few cartridges with problems one leaked and the other didnt work. But I have ordered these at least 10 times so only 2 bad is good odds. Very happy with this ink

Epson's "HD" Claria ink for $165? After 6 years of proper storage and some traveling without use, who knew if my printer still worked. I dove into the remanufactured ink option. Strike 1 first attempt with another company--black wouldn't work. Thought a nozzle or two was blocked so painstakingly piece-mealed supplies for a clean. Still came up short and my hopes were diminishing. Saw LD had this set for half the price of my first buy, so why not rule out a possible faulty cart or two. "You're kidding me--test page WORKS!", as I gasped in joy while my loved one from the other room was like "WTF?!".Anywho, printing on Epson premium matte and colors have been nearly identical to screen after a few 19x13 runs. The ink supply indicator after a couple large runs were still at 100% full so I was weary about the longevity of these and how there might be a read error. But while writing this--checked my supply levels and thankfully there's some movement. I either got REALLY lucky with my first purchase, or this is how this company does things. We'll see because I've got another order on the way and will continue as long as their QC is reflective of the original.

I would not use my printer half as much if I didn't find an affordable alternative to the genuine Epson printer ink. Now I don't have to pick and choose what I print because of the cost of INK!!!!

So far so good. Printing is as good as the photo it is printing. Ie, great photo, great printing... I think the color is better with these inks over the Epson ink. At least for my taste. Changing to 3 star for one reason. The ink doesnt hold up at a county fair in heat and humidity. The black turned brown, and colors faded where with the other ink it did not in years past, and no one elses photos at the fair did this. Ink was the difference.Updated. Framed prints stay fine. I have been using this ink with my Epson 1430 for several years. It works great at a fraction of the price of Epson ink. The last time I loaded new ink is the only time I have ever received a warning that I was not using Epson ink. All I had to do was select continue and no problem. I will continue to use this ink as long as i have my 1430.
