Great for daily construction use!
Used this as part of a recovery from a broken talus bone in the ankle. I work construction and have used this daily to climb ladders and whatnot. Ive been super happy with its performance and support. It really makes helps my ankle not ache by the end of the day. Is comfy to wear and not bothersome

Fantastic Support
I had ORIF surgery on my left tibia and fibula but I also rolled my right ankle in the process. I have a walker but it made me nervous putting my full body weight on my rolled ankle. The doc gave me a boot but I feel like it’s more trouble than it’s worth. So I bought this and I am NOT disappointed. Very easy to put on and assemble. It is in fact bulky, however I do feel like it offers the most support in this type of brace. It is a bit annoying about fitting into shoes, but I honestly can’t put a price on keeping my “good” ankle protected while I have plates and screws in the other.

New design over the lace type but maybe a 3 not quite 3+.
This is ok, I wouldn't think this is level 3+, maybe a 3. It is a bit pricey considering you can get other brands with a more sturdy design. But that depends on how you use it. This still allows a few movements and without hinges and plastic moldings, less chaffing or digging into anything, perfect for soccer, basketball, tennis, or jogging. However, you can't do much about tricky moves for soccer. Size wise, the elastic fabric part actually fits right for my size 8 foot in small, but the straps and the ankle part are just too small to fit. Straps not long enough So I had to exchange for medium/l. Then the straps are just the pefect length. But the tube sock is a bit loose, so wearing thick socks solve that. Fitment: First there are the verticle tube part that is opened on the back of your leg with 2 velcros to lock it down, then there are 2 staps that connects the sock part bottom, as you pull up the straps it locks down the sock part but it doesnt seen to pull the 2 vertical lateral inner and outer "splint" tighter, it just the socks... I will have to revise that again. Then the last strap at top seems to tighten the two splint but that is only the top. Which is fine, it would be perfect if there is adjustability at the ankle area. Construction is well made, the side splints are contoured forming to the shape with inner neoprene like cushion pads that makes it comfy to wear. I just got a impingment injury so that doesn't matter much for lateral stability, it does help a bit going upstairs. Dosiflexion, it does help a bit going up/down stairs But if I had a sprained ankle, these will definitely help. Overall pretty good ankle brace.

Size up if near larger size
I’m a woman’s 81/2. The xs/ small is way too small. It would cut off the circulation on the end of my foot. The bottom was tight and very uncomfortable. Add to that the bull at the bottom of this brace and it’s a hard no. Would be extremely uncomfortable to walk in even in the correct size. The 1st photo is of the bottom that you would walk on. The sides are nice and fit well around ankle bones but the bulky bottom is just too painful me.

May give you stability but I found it uncomfortable
The rods in the sides make it stable but I found this to be uncomfortable especially at the bottom of my foot. The nylon should be manufactured to the ball of ones foot not the middle where it digs into ones flesh. Otherwise it helped with stability but found it so unbearable I threw it away. Look into the Futura Brand. Although the Futura should go back to having an adjustable plastic buckle (like the former iteration) just below the shin like before instead of velcro. The older model had velcro and an adjustable buckle. Why, why, why do manufacturers change styles when the original style works best. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Easy to use, prefer over lace-up types
Snug but with enough give that if you swell a bit you aren’t causing injury to skin or soft tissue like with the lace-up kind

Molto buono se hai avuto un forte trauma, io continuo a praticare sport dopo la rottura del legamento perone grazie a questo prodotto! Consigliato ma solo se hai un bel problema altrimenti consiglio i modelli meno bloccanti
