Tunisian Crochet Workshop: The complete guide to modern Tunisian crochet stitches, techniques and patterns

Loved all the pics and illustrations! Have been crocheting for over 50 years...but never learned this technique. I am just learning this new stitch and found directions easy to follow. Beginners will love it!

I'm new to Tunisian crocheting and found this book to be very helpful. She breaks down each stitch so that it very understandable. The photos make it easy to follow along, as well as the charts. Diffently worth the price.

I agree this is a great book but I disagree that it's ideal for beginners, at least not for stitch descriptions. While pretty much everything is covered from gauge to reading patterns, the stitch descriptions are very sparse. Many stitches are covered but each only has one or two tiny photos and a very short description. I'm learning Tunisian Crochet from Craftsy and I've made two things already and I still found the descriptions of stitches I know how to do sort of confusing. The pictures weren't necessarily of how to make the stitches but more what they should look like if done correctly. That said, this book is a very thorough overview of Tunisian Crochet and will give someone a decent idea of how things are different from knitting and regular crochet. The patterns also seem more interesting and challenging than some in other books. I can't do a whole scarf in one style of stitch! Boring! Lastly, this book is easy to read and includes charts as well as written instructions for many of the patterns.

I learned how to do the afghan stitch from my mother in early childhood which is the same as the Tunisian Simple Stitch. I was asked to teach this technique to others so I first looked at this book as an electronic book from the library. I loved it so much I got the paperback. I was able to go on and learn more stitches easily with this book. I love the projects in it which range from simple to advanced and I have already started one of the more advanced projects. This is my favorite Tunisian crochet book of about five that I have perused. I will also add that as I picked up the long crochet hooks to do Tunisian crochet, I felt relaxed, which is what I had loved about this hobby during childhood.

New at this type of crochet, the book has a lot of information and designs in it. It is a great book for those who know so little about this style. Lots of wonderful pictures. I can't wait to try some of these stitches.

This is a nice book with good instructions and some nice patterns. BUT if you are looking for the directions for making the pattern on the front it is not in the book. I brought the book for the cover picture pattern and couldn't find it in the book anywhere. It is still a nice book I will just keep looking for that pattern

I bought this book for the cover project (the diamond pattern) and the pattern isn't even included in the book! I wouldn't mind but there isn't anything remotely similar either. As a beginner, it's hard for me to freehand, so for me it was a bit of a waste. I'll probably still use the book, just wasn't what I wanted it for...

Nice book over all pictures could be clearer as not each stage of the stitches are covered so as a newby to Tunisian crocheting I have had to go on u tube to fill in the missing pieces but not a problem

Unfortunately came 3 days late with a sticker saying only £4 when I paid £8.91 but book looks good.

Excellent book. I didn't know there were different Tunisian crochet stitches and I have made three blankets!I love the different patterns and the clear instructions. I have shown it to two friends and they both bought it after seeing it.

Tutorials looked excellent but the projects were not for me. Was looking for a variety of blankets and cushion covers not pin cushions, pencil cases and flower pot covers. Ended up sending book back.
