Size is great, expensive looking, and very soft

I had been looking for a wallet like this for a good long while...one that held my checkbook, did not have an ill-conceived pouch sticking out of the side for coins, and had various other desirable features. This one has it all ... with one exception: it does not have a loop for the pen that you would use to write checks. I find that to be a disadvantage and that's the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five.

I had ordered a different one from Amazon, did not like it and returned it. I was hesitant to order another one but I am really glad I did. It is very well made, leather is soft and very nice. The wallet has lots of room for credit cards, a checkbook, zippered change purse and a zippered compartment for cash and a cell phone. I wish the color was a bit darker, but it is true to what was depicted in the pictures. My sister saw it and is going to order one for herself!Update. I have had this wallet for 3 months now and I like it more all of the time. It is holding up well and I have never had a wallet that helps me stay organized like this one does. I highly recommend it.Update. I have had this wallet for over a year now and I can't say enough good about it. The wallet has held up well and looks as good as the day I bought it.
