A diagonal backyard neighbors dogs bark literally all day. Once it was four hours without a break. They stand at the side of the house and bark at nothing. I probably looked at all the anti-bark units on Amazon and finally purchased this lower cost anti-bark item just in case it didn't produce the quiet result I wanted therefore I would not be out too much money. It arrived two days after I ordered it and I installed it on my shed pointing at the spot about 20 feet away in the neighbors yard where the dogs stand and bark. I turned it up to #3 and let it do its thing.Apparently it works just fine sort of because the dogs moved to the other side of the neighbors house to bark. So now they are about 80 feet away on the other side of the house barking. I think they really are as stupid as I originally thought. At least the barking is not as annoying as it once was. Can't say that for the neighbors who now have to put up with it.UPDATE 11/09/22With the colder weather the battery output drops and I am assuming so does the decibel level and distance that will affect the stupid dogs. They have come back and bark but not for as long a time as before. Therefore I believe the device is working but not with the punch it once had when it was warm.Dirt clods and soon enough snowballs do great also. Because of the fences, they don't know exactly where the clods are coming from as they tuck their tails and run away.

The device worked for the first week. My dogs barked much less, but yhe battery died. A 9v a week is unsustainable. I do understand that once trained batteries will ladt longer, but the device does not recognize barking in of itself, it recognizes loud abrupt sounds and does its thing often. Solar is the cure. I am going to buy a 9v solar panel for a trail cam and wire it in.

The battery dies in less than 2 weeks. This device has an obvious need: A solar cell. See if you can't find one that is solar-powered so you just don't even have to think about this device. Let it pierce the ears of dumb barkers and move on.***if you find one, spread the word with your review so we can stop wasting money. Thank you.***

It works ok but doesn’t detour my dog

Works really well with my skittish dog, so well that she doesn’t go outside now but my other 2 big dogs do not respond and keep barking but I would say it does it’s job In keeping the skittish dog from barking

My dogs needed a higher pitch frequency to be effective- kept it but pointed it at the neighhouse, worked w their dogs! LOL

Battery life doesn’t last and don’t think it gets the range it says. But it does get ur dogs attention when close by.

Love the way it shuts the neighbors dogs up.
