Um 2nd update- January 2023Hair is now touching my booty since my cut in Oct. volumized, not flat. Not sticking to my sweaters nor dry.But importantly, I’ve gotten dozens of compliments who noticed a change in my hair. Said it was healthy, fuller, longer and shiny. They loved what I was doing with it. It’s using just this serum I’ve been using!My hair is back!UPDATE!!I love this oil. it works!! I’m impressed. I’ve been using this for 1.5 months every other day and I’ve noticed a HUGE change in my hair. 1- I NO LONGER HAVE A MIDDLE PART THAT SHOWS MY WHITE SCALP. That was my major concern, my part was like an inch and thinning. Noticeable, it really bugged me. This serum worked for me. my hair is FULLER, thicker, I don’t have a handful of hair in the bottom of my drain after every shower. My hair grew faster, I just got it cut in October and it’s now longer than the length in October (granted my hair used to grow extremely fast). This product gave my hair life again. I swear. Everyday I’m just noticing something a little bit different that bothered me and it’s magically fixed, , the way it flows or when I flip it, it’s volumized, it helps control the trays and staticky cling to my hair… my hair and I love it! My photos aren’t edited, you can see it’s healthy and darker now in December._____________this review is based on appearance and not on results of hair growth.I have straight thick black hair!I'm conflicted with this product. I've used it probably 4 times between clean dry hair (like 3 hours after a wash) and clean wet hair (right out of a wash). That means I've washed my hair at least 4 times having this oil. That's a lot lol. It makes my hair look oily. Like your 2 days in without cleaning your hair and its oil but doesn't feel dirty obvi. it gives me GREAT control of my hair and fly aways. No frizzyness. it calms my crazy hair down. I don't constantly feel that baby hair tickling my face. But I don't love the oily look. its like that oily, extra shiny look on my scalp. and it will make my hair flat. That's why I'm conflicted whether I love it or I'm eh about it. I don't love it because of the oily. But I want to have high hopes that it will make my hair grow. The 2nd day hair with the oil in, the oily appearance isn't as noticeable but my hair will be even flatter depending on how I wear my hair.I'd like to believe my bangs actually grew faster with applying this but I'm not entirely sure. I'm watching the baby hairs in my problem section more. And I'm seeing some but not a lot. nothing significant because I've only had this product for about 8-10 days.if you have a dry & itchy scalp after showering like I do because its super cold out now, this product actually makes my scalp feel like amazing. and hoenestly like the title of the product, "revitalized". I have noticed less hair shed in the shower, that is 100% because I'm not picking up a bunch of hairs after.I like it, I don't love it yet butI need more time with it. I took before pictures, we'll see how much improvement I make as I continue using this.My goal is for full hair in my part. and fill in the baby hairs I'm hoping they will grow back because I'm worried I'm loosing my hair.

Not sure if it working but makes your hair very very oily

This is an excellent oil for the hair and scalp and it has a lovely scent. I have very long but baby-fine hair and I usually wash my hair every day. If I try to skip a day, it looks as if I haven't shampooed in a week; my hair is flat and looks dirty and greasy. I have had reasonably good luck with using hot rollers to curl my hair on day 1, sleeping with my hair tucked up into a silk hair bonnet and it still has waves the next day along with some volume and it doesn't too bad. But, this doesn't work if I leave my hair un-curled, which is what I usually do since I am almost always at home these days...My scalp and the ends of my hair are very dry and I like to use oils once in a while, but they do leave my hair looking absolutely awful. I usually have to apply at night, sleep with a towel covering my pillow and then wash it out first thing in the morning. When I read that this blend acts as a dry oil, I was very hopeful that it would work for me. It is light-weight and definitely feels soothing on my scalp. It doesn't weigh my hair down excessively, but it does leave it looking pretty oily if applied as directed, especially near the roots. My hair is thin, so I can't afford to have my hair looking unwashed on anything like a regular basis. Instead, I use this like my other oils -- only once a week or so. So I get some of the scalp benefits. I do use it on the dry, damaged ends of my hair pretty often and it does help it look shiny and healthy. This may work better for those with thicker, fuller hair but it just isn't for me. The current price of $38.00 for one ounce of the product is a bit high, but it seems to be well formulated and a little goes a long way.

This oil is very easy to apply directly on my scalp, thanks to the dropper. It is pretty lightweight, but depending on how much you use(bottle suggests 3/4 dropper full) your hair may have a slightly greasy feel for a few hours. It has a pretty strong smell, that doesn’t annoy me, but it is absolutely noticeable. I will still smell it on my pillowcase for the next day or two. I do not use this oil everyday, I have stuck to 2–3 times per week, applying the oil only once during the day. I do like the way it makes me hair feel too, but focus more on my scalp, prior to a scalp massage. While I’m not exactly sure if this product alone is contributing to my hair growth, I have noticed my hair seemed to be growing more since I’ve started using this, although it could be contributed to more scalp massages as well. So far I do enjoy this, and would order it again.

If you decide to use this, don't use it on days you are going anywhere because it leaves your hair oily and greasy looking wherever it touches. I don't know if it does what it says, but I do know that it leaves an oily residue until you wash it out.
