First one did not work as designed. They sent a replacement and it has been working for three months now. No super long on the 30 amp plug cords. My dock pedestal has both 30 amp plugs on one side so it works at my home dock.

Some of the main "M" brand Y-Adapters won't work at many marinas because the legs are not on separate circuits. This one doesn't have the fancy electronics so works pretty much anywhere. You just have to be smart about how/where you use it. Also, if your boat has 240volt appliances, then this is NOT the adapter for you. Go with the fancy "M" brand one.

I bought this adapter because of the limited 50amp power on the Erie Canal. It does work, but I recommend carrying an extra 30 amp cord to connect it to an additional power pedisile to avoid hooking it to the same circut.

This product is high quality at a reasonable price.

These connectors are $300 and up at West Marine. I've seen them priced at $550. I used it twice the first week I had it. "Works like a hose" as we used to say in Texas. It is really (really!) worth the time and money to invest in getting a full array of splits and connectors if you have a bigger boat. If you've got the right stuff, you can plug in ANYWHERE, in 5 minutes, and be fine, plus be a good neighbor because you have a full array of connectivity options and your neighbors might not. For me that means I can be a NICE GUY and pull two 30's and leave the 50 amp open for the next guy. INSTANT HERO on the docks.

I needed a new Y connection for my houseboat. I’m very disappointed in this one bc it’s so short from the twist lock ends you plug in to the dock that unless your receipts are just side by side it won’t reach. Made that way for cost savings I guess. I got mine connect but I don’t like the strain that’s on them bc both sides to the receipts are really stretched out.

Easy to attach and works great.

Well made Y adapter but the 2 30 amp pigtails are too short to reach both sides of the electrical tower. I ended up buying one that has the longer tails and just keeping this one for a spare. Spend the extra money and buy the right one the first time, learn from my mistake.
