A good size for making smoothies
Very good size of ice balls. Easy to use. But, putting the cover on can be a bit messy if overfilled. I do it on a kitchen towel to avoid clean up. Don’t let that deter you. It’s really great to have such nice round ice balls for my summer drinks. And, they are a good size for making smoothies. Blend well into the protein smoothie. I take the trays out of the freezer for a few minutes before I take them out of the tray to let them melt just a bit and loosen up in the tray. The storage box is especially nice to,have and comes with a scoop.

Cute "cubes"
Overall, I do really like these ice "cubes". Making them is more than a bit of a pain, but they are cute and fill a glass very efficiently. There are some negatives...1) When you pour water in the trays, you're mostly pouring into half spheres. What happens when you pour into a sphere with any force? It comes out the other side and shoots everywhere. Filling trays is NOT a dry experience.2) Instructions say to put some fixed number of milliliters in the tray. Due to #1, I just filled until all the spheres had water in them. Overall, mostly worked fine.3) As pictured, you fill the bottom, then insert the top. Water comes shooting out some of the holes in the top which shows they're full. That's fine, but where does the water go? Into indentations in the top, so you are putting wet trays into the freezer.4) Not very high side walls, so keeping the trays perfectly horizontal isn't easy. More than a bit of water has come sloshing out, including into the row of my freezer below the new trays.5) When it comes to de-molding, you pull the top from the bottom. Most spheres stick to the top, probably some due to overflow out the hole. Twisting and turning, I did manage to get them all off every time, but they can sure be stubborn. Dumping from the bottom, without the hole the pin them in place is a little easier, but some do stick to the bottom also.Overall, the spheres are tiny, so 30 oz insulated glass uses more than half those made in one batch (of all 4 trays), BUT the glass has so many, some have stayed as ice for 3 days in my experience. Standard cubes tend to be water in 24 hours, so I love the usability of the spheres. They look great, and they function great. Filling and removing from the trays are the only real issue, and they're so cute that I think they're worth the hassle. I'd definitely buy this set again.

Kids love it. Not so easy so remove the ice
As a parent with two ice-loving toddlers, finding a safe and convenient solution for their icy cravings was a top priority. Enter the Miaowoof Mini Ice Cube Tray, a game-changer when it comes to creating small, enjoyable ice cubes. Let me share my experience with this durable and practical product. One of the standout features of this ice cube tray is its durability. Made from sturdy materials, it withstands regular use without showing signs of wear and tear. This ensures longevity, allowing me to make a substantial amount of ice cubes over time. The tray is designed to make quite a bit of ice, which is ideal for satisfying my little ones' constant demand for icy treats. The small ice cubes it produces are the perfect size to prevent any choking hazards, providing peace of mind while they enjoy their frosty delights. However, one area that could be improved is the process of cleaning and removing the ice from the tray. Occasionally, it can be a bit challenging to release the ice cubes without resorting to banging the tray on a hard surface. This minor inconvenience can sometimes make the process a little less seamless than desired. In summary, the Miaowoof Mini Ice Cube Tray is a reliable companion for any parent seeking a safe and convenient way to provide ice treats for their children. Its durability and ability to produce a significant amount of small ice cubes make it a practical choice for families. While the process of cleaning and removing the ice cubes could be smoother, the joy it brings to my kids' faces makes it well worth it.

Perfect for pebble ice
My husband wanted a prbble ice maker for tiki drinks but we didnt have the space for an automatic one. This is a perfect substitution. It makes enough for several drinks, is easy to use and store.

Messy and Time Consuming
We love having ice available all the time, but I haven’t yet invested in an ice maker. My daughter found this option for small ice balls, so we decided to give it a shot. First, the little ice balls are great, but they melt much, much faster than regular cubes (it’s just physics). Second, it’s messy to make and break out the ice. Make sure you’re working over a sink area when filling because water splashes all over when placing the top portion of the tray. Once frozen, breaking out the ice balls is a pain (and can also be messy with little pieces of ice ending up all over) because this is hard plastic and not a soft silicone. They won’t all drop out at once, and I’ve found myself have to scrape out little balls of ice. Because some water settles on top of each ice tray, you also get little flecks of ice breaking off as well. Honestly, because of the fast melting, and messy pain of both making and breaking out the ice, I ended up buying different ice molds for our household needs. However, the little ice balls are cute, and I could see using these trays for “specialty” ices flavored with something, but too much of a pain to make, and make enough (due to the quick melting), for everyday use.

Handy!
The ice balls are not very easy to get out of the trays. You have to let them sit a few minutes to thaw before trying to dump the trays. The small ice balls do work well in soda bottles with the small openings, which is why I bought them.

Love them
I love this trays. They make really cute ice and it’s very easy and what I like the most it’s that you can keep them clean and separated from the other food in the fridge. I use the ice to fill my Stanley cups. My kids love the shape. Very good for summer time.

Klappt gut
