I bought two of these shades to install on the back of my home where we have two window unit ACs that cool the bedroom areas of our home. In the recent (Summer '21) Pacific Northwest heat wave, our little window units were really struggling to keep up with the electrical load and our breakers tripped routinely as a result. After installing these shades over the window units, they immediately stopped struggling and we haven't tripped a breaker since. Further, even on 100 degree days, we cannot run both the window units at full bore because it causes the house to get too cold...all of the house, not just the bedroom areas with the AC units. These shades are a heck of a good deal for home cooling but don't forget to buy rigging (hooks and twine at a minimum...I also used a couple of carabiners) or they won't do much good.

I love this cover. It gives my East facing window shade and also my AC unit. My plants love it as well, they were struggling in the hot sun. I also found a spot to set up a bucket for rain collection for watering my plants. Very well constructed and a breeze to install. I used three I hooks and three clips plus a little piece of rope. Total about $3.

Great sun shade and true to it's dimensions. Has withstood all the normal weather conditions and keeps our seating area shaded. The tan color has not faded at all in the sun (Arizona) which is great and the material is not shredding like we have experienced with other products.We have had ours up non-stop for the last two years and it handled all wind conditions without any problems. A micro burst came through and it finally tore a seam on one side, so I'm ordering another one. That's how much I like this one. That micro burst btw also pulled the metal side panel off of my neighbors a/c, pulled down branches in trees throughout the neighborhood and all kinds of other chaos. One seam tear on a shade cloth exposed to direct sun for two years in AZ is to be expected.

I have an 11 x 20 rectangle with the steel cable sewn into the perimeter and this 12x12x12 triangle. I used chains and cleats to pull them tight. Has held up nicely in 40-50 mph winds. Together with my BBQ and fire pit, I have an oasis in my back yard.

These are great shade and easy to install! We have a very hot Summer, so we need to provide shade for our garden. These products provide great shade and easy to use.

During the hot Texas summer, the sun is merciless on potted veggies. Positioned it so the hottest part of the sun shaded the plants. Worked great. Just removed it for the winter and will be able to use it for another season. Good value, durable.

Not the easiest to install however, I did it by myself and would be much easier with some extra hands. I live with very high winds and it has healed up great. I plan to get another one! when the sun is hitting directly in the shade it can tend to get a little hot underneath so I might get a white one next.

I have ordered a larger sail in white that we loved over our pool, but we were hanging it up and decided we needed a smaller sail to cover our patio table/furniture. I had gotten chairs with turquoise cushions and thought, why not, lets get a turquoise sail and it did not disappoint! It is a gorgeous color! I hope the sun won't fade it too much because its perfect with my cushions (which are not in the picture). We are hoping this sail also blocks the heat into the family room in the hot summer months, looking forward to summer here in Sunny California!

NOT the colour as shown in picture. Hence the 4 stars Totally different blue.I haven't had a chance to hang this up yet but it will definitely work for what I need. Would have liked it to be proper turquoise rather than teal. Does not go with the decor but will make it work.For a sundial you need to order cables for it to keep its shape. I am going to use clothesline cable that I have on hand to hang this triangle.

Pensé que el material iba a ser menos plasticoso. En donde vivo hace muchísimo sol todo el año, el sol se come las cosas, veremos cuánto dura.

Bought several of these. Sturdy fabric and works well once you figure out how to best install it in your location. You may find you actually need more than one depending on the location of the sun.
