This corned beef is delicious, have used many times in sandwiches and with boiled cabbage. Will buy again!

Corned beef, especially Libby's has been a favorite since I was a child. Every other month, we crack open a can and mash it up with chopped onions, sweet peppers and put it over rice with steamed cabbage. So seeing them on sale for $3.49 was a steal. We had to buy 4 cans, hoping they wasn't expired - they're good until 2028 and will all be eaten way before this year is over! Why one was missing the key? That's the most fun part of the process. I know we can use one from another can, but that's not the point lol. Overall, were going to enjoy every bite. May buy a few more while they're on sale.

I love this brand of corned beef but the last 2 times I ordered this, it arrived without the metal key. You can't open this can without the key. I tried using pliers but the tab would break off and I couldn't start the process again. I had to throw it away twice! I hate wasting food. Such a disappointment. I'm afraid to order this again, but it is so much cheaper purchasing through Amazon than buying it in a supermarket. It is delicious.

the hubby grew up in a British household, and this stuff was a staple that may have been popularized in WWII. while I'm not as enamored of it, he can carve off a slab and eat it with pickled onions and crackers and seems to really enjoy it. when I though I'd rate it lower than 5 stars due to it reminding me of canned product the dogs got, the hubby pointed out that while it may be a bit polarizing due to fat content, appearance, texture, taste and method of removal from the tin, for the folks that like it the libby's brand is good stuff.

I've tried off brand corned beef..Libby's is the best quality canned beef on the market. Delicious. Not too fatty. The salt can be offset by adding fresh vegetables. I make great stews with Libby's.
