Kenmore Top-Freezer Refrigerator with LED Lighting and 20.8 Cubic Ft. Total Capacity, White

Although we've only had this unit for approx. 45 days, we are pleased thus far. It is installed in our garage where the temperatures can stay rather cool (36-50deg.: we live at a high altitude area). This is the factor that dictated the purchase of an "Energy Star" refrigerator. The "ES" units apparently are more efficient at properly controlling their temperatures in low ambient temperature environments, whereas non-ES require an additional controller. This unit seems to be doing just that. It is very quiet while running.This fridge is certainly large enough and appears attractive both inside (glass shelves) and out. As noted above, it is in the garage. I will occasionally go out late at night to retrieve item(s). The internal lighting is substantial.I am positively impressed with this unit.

This is an excellent refrigerator and I am well pleased with everything that was explained in the ad because one should have no worry to it’s truth. Just be sure whatever is offered you the customer at Amazon will help you in any way.

The Refrigerator seems to work ok only had it on for thirty minutes so we will see. My issue however is with the delivery itself. I will sat that the delivery personnel were respectable enough. However when ordering this refrigerator one of the selling point is that the old one would be hauled off. When I checked out on Amazon I did not see anywhere to specifically note that I had a haul off, however there was a field for notes or instructions where i indicated that i had an old unit that needed removal. Also was under the impression that the fridge would be installed where the old one was, which in my case required that the door hinges be reversed. As soon as the new unit was unloaded I was informed that there was no paper work for haul off and they had no room to haul off the old unit on the truck. Which is a lie because if you unload a unit the same size off of the truck then the old one which was actually smaller would fit back on the truck. Then I was informed by the delivery person that they would not reverse the hinges on the unit that that had to be done in their shop. When I asked how they were going to install it in the location if the door would not open i just got a shoulder shrug. They knew they had me in a hard spot we had already been without a refrigerator for a week so I really needed to accept the delivery. So now I have an old refrigerator that I still have to get rid of, spent an hour changing the door hardware and installing it by myself. I had found a local supplier that would sell me the exact refrigerator for roughly $100.00 less, however I would have had to haul my old one to them and pick the new one up myself. I would have been $100.00 dollars ahead if I had went with that option. This would not have been an issue if there had been some clear concise instruction on check out that I could have filled out. There may certainly be a place on the amazon order to specify this information but I should not have to search and hunt for it if they are offering it with these options. I will add this, that this is the first time I have been this disappointed with Amazon.

This is a nice roomy fridge, quiet, with nice big vege bins and shelves. Freezer does what its supposed to do and there is plenty of room for that holiday turkey. This model does not have an icemaker but this was of no concern to me. This is a great size refrigerator for the money. L.E.D lighting makes for a well lit interior.

Overall the refrigerator works great. It is affordable and does what you would expect a fridge to do! It has a good amount of space and you can arrange the shelves to your needs. Only reason to down it a star is that it had a small dent, small enough that I could just put a magnet over it and not worry about the hassle of returning and waiting for a new fridge to arrive. There were two more small scratches in hidden places. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I purchased the black Kenmore 61219 for our garage to replace the 20+ year refrigerator we had been using there. I like the fact this refrigerator is "garage ready" which means it can handle low temperatures better than those not rated as such. Most refrigerators are not designed to operate in under 50 deg temperatures. NOTE: that the smaller 18 cu ft version is not designated garage ready. Having previously only purchased large appliances from local dealers and big box stores I was a little leery purchasing online from Amazon of how delivery and installation and haul away of the old refrigerator would work. I need not have been. Delivery and haul away were quick and easy and in fact much more so than my last two appliance purchases from local big box stores. Kudos to Amazon and the delivery folks they use. As far as the refrigerator itself, it exceeded my expectations. For the price, I was expecting a very very basic model so was pleasantly surprised to find that it had glass shelves and led lighting. Of course others with higher expectations may not be as delighted, but for our needs this refrigerator fit the bill perfectly.

So far so good on this garage fridge. My last one died within 2 years being that it was not meant to be kept in a garage below a certain temperature (I knew this already but didn't care). What stood out for this fridge was the delivery, very professional and courteous and they went the extra mile which I won't get into detail for. Your mileage may vary on the delivery since you probably won't get the same crew I did.

This fridge/freezer is perfect for 1-2 people household. 15 cu ft fridge w/ 5.8 cu ft top freezer. Temp controls are easy to manage & freezer section holds all the frozen food I want to store at any one time. Have not had it long enough yet to know for sure re: use of elecricity, etc but does not run excessively & all seems to be doing what it is expected to do.
