Strong, Easy, and Efficient
Overall a great product from rough country! It was a direct fit to lower my jeeps transfer case and was super easy to install using the instructions provided and the video instructions on RCโs website! Worth the price, and works great!

Install videos and instructions make it look so much easier than it is...
Had vibrations after RC 3" lift install. This kit did a great job fixing that. However, installing this kit was a real pain. As soon as you remove the old bolts, even if only one side at a time like the instructions say, the holes will no longer line up easily. The transmission/transfer case will probably drift out of place. It shifted around an inch or so, and you have to fight tooth and nail for every millimeter you try to get back. It took me a couple hours of ratchet straps and wrestling stuff back into place. Overall, I'm very happy I installed this kit, as it solved the vibration issues. Just be aware that this one could potentially be a real pain in the neck.

Perfect for 3โ lift kit
Installed 3โ Rough Country Lift on 1999 Jeep XJ. Had some driveline vibrations. This kit solved that problem. Fairly easy to install. I had issues with the factory installed studs for the transmission crossmember. Ended up welding the nut to the stud and using a lot of PB blaster to break free. Once the old hardware is out of the way, install is fairly straightforward. Does help to have a buddy get the bolt holes lined back up.

Easy to install
Rough country did it again. This kit helped with the vibration after my 3 inch lift. Easy to install. I un screwed and removed four bolts. Lowered the transfer case. Put the hard plastic shims over the old bolt holes, replaced the stock bolts with the ones supplied tightened everything up, and done. Plastic shims were well build out of hard plastic and bolt were stainless steel, better than the stock bolts. Even if you think you don't the kit I recommend you buy it for piece of mind.

Does what it says pretty well...
Works as described. If you are not ready to spend $ yet on SYE and new rear driveshaft, this is a good compromise. I have 96 XJ with 5" lift in the rear running 33x12.5x15s. With this drop kit I have smooth acceleration now, but still get some vibration and noise when off the gas and axle torques back against the driveline.

Terrible
Bolts were wrong and I stripped out my weld nuts. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT LENGTH BOLTS.

Ok ish
The bolts where way to long . Said for a xj but instractions show a vehicle with a boxed frame so weird
