The only thing that worried me was that, when I went to use the magnetic strip on my car, it had curved a bit and didn't seem to want to stick. Simple - just make sure you press it fully against the metal and it's just fine. I just wasn't making enough contact at first. I'm very pleased to find this product, since I didn't want to adhere an actual sticker on my car, and couldn't find the design I wanted in a magnet. The strips I bought were big enough for a long bumper sticker plus a small square one. Cutting the magnetic strip was easy with a good pair of shears, but I think that, next time, I'll pull out my heavy duty guillotine paper cutter for any longer cuts (I needed to trim the long side because my bumper sticker was a little narrower than the magnetic strip). It's certainly possible to do it with heavy scissors or shears, but would be neater with the paper cutter.

For those that aren't aware, Subaru has badges you can get from them for free that basically show how many subaru's you've had and what kind of interests you have as well. They are made to be stuck to the car, usually on the rear and come with sticky tape pre-installed. I wanted to be able to remove mine without dealing with removing adhesive, so I purchased these and stuck the badges to them and then cut the bumper stick around them so that it doesn't show. This worked perfectly for both my wifes and my car. We have driven though multiple car washes with brushes and high powered pressure washing and they simply stay on. They haven't even moved since place on the car. The magnet is pretty strong and it was a perfect solution. If i need to remove them now, I can just pull them off!

This magnet has seriously been the best product for my car. I wanted HOV access, but didn’t want to have a permanent sticker or residue on my nice car. This has worked amazingly. I just put them on before I go and take it off when I get to my destination (by choice). I’m very happy with it. Thank you so much.

I think this product is great in terms of use and the ability to preserve your paint while being able to display bumper stickers or stickers in general. The only down side that I found was the magnet is not as strong as I would hope. While it does stay on, I find myself really pushing down on it to ensure that it won't fly off while I am going 65 - 70 on the freeway!

The magnetization on these sheets was stronger than I had hoped for, but it was very easy to cut with scissors and shape. Bought it to attach a giant bow to the roof of my van, and it did the trick. Hot glue will not hold on this though, as it peels right off. But the adhesive side of magnet works just as well. Would recommend for those DIY"ers who need a strong magnet to attach stickers, drawings, or lightweight things to your car to decorate

I used this magnet material to fasten a small metal American flag to the back of my car. It was on for perhaps a month when I decided to was the car. When I went to remove it, it was stuck. After I forced it off it seemed to pull off some of the clear coat. You could see it on the magnet and the same exact pattern on the car. I thought wax may clear up the area but it did not. This is a nice car (Audi A5) and I was very unhappy with this result. After waxing the car I put the magnet back on to cover the area where the clear coat was removed, only this time I put a coating of wax on the magnet before applying it, without wiping it off. This should keep it from sticking again. I would not have reapplied the magnet but wanted to cover the "messed up" area. My fault for not being more careful. If you use this material to attach something to a painted surface, beware and use caution.

I didn't try it on a vehicle in motion yet.Automatic 1-star because I immediately got something irritable and painful on my skin as soon as I opened the 4-pack and handled the first magnet. I can best compare it to the feeling of fiberglass.There were peeling sections of the top magnet on the side. I think this is where the small fragments came from. shI'm not sure if it's just this specific seller, but this is very bad quality control.I spent the next 15 minutes trying to get something that I couldn't even see out of my finger with tweezers. I then gave up and just brushed & washed until it was gone. I'm now concerned that it may have gotten elsewhere, since I made the mistake of opening it in my bedroom.I washed the magnet off in water and cleaned it, and then got another fragment when handling it. Fortunately, it came off immediately by just brushing it.I will use gloves when actually cutting and handling it from now on, which will be really annoying if the issue persists, since I plan to take the magnets on and off constantly, since I bought them for HOV decals.This could have easily caused a medical emergency if it had gotten into my eye. Be careful!!
