This blow dryer doesn't work on true 4C hair

Dang thang too large.
The size is not made for women sized hands. This item is huge which makes it bulky awkward when using.

It could have been great, but it's a good backup
I wanted to love this hair dryer brush, but I can't for the two reasons I name in the review video. It is lightweight and air flows through all the vents in the hair brush which I think is great. Cleaning it would be tricky without the cleaning tool that they include because I like to clean with soap and water, but this will be different. Maybe their updated version of this hair dryer can have a cool setting and I would like it more. I don't know how portable it is for travel because it doesn't disassemble whatsoever, so make an executive decision on that. All in all, it's a better hair dryer brush than I've been seeing because it doesn't have those pesky hair pulling bristles that most competitors have.

Better Than You May Think, Says Me!
LURA Ionic Blow Dryer Brush for Black Women:24k Gold Hair Dryer Brush Blow Dryer Brush in One,Blow Dryer with Comb for Black Natural Hair,Hair Brush Blow Dryer for 4c Hair, and my thoughts!I do not have type 4C hair I have type -0XYZ. That's fine, double-cowlicked, awfully flay and sometimes wavy, short, natural, platinum blonde hair. Hi, nice to meet you!I think it is a great Dryer Brush for me and many types of hair. I have been working with hair for about 50 years, professionally in Hollywood and then before, during, and after as a hobby, so, I know a bit or two about these types of products. It is durable, well-made, handsome (mine is a male), and I like it! It saves me half the work. It is no louder or quiet than any other I have, it is heavy enough, lightweight but sturdy, and feels rather professional for what it is. It is also quite large! There are many types of hair I can think of as useful for this. Basically all. The reason I say that is I used the same Conair dryer that still only costs about $19.99, same basic dryer I used in the early '80's for film, TV, photography, and fun and personal use. Still using a basic Conair 1600 to date as my preferred. I used my Conair on type 4C so dense you could not see the light through, ethnic hair types most people do not even know about, and it did and still does work. If two things exist: the right rushes (mine are still cheap Conair or lesser), and the right hair products like shampoos, oils, conditioners, and all the rest. So, I am going to say that since I have used two products forever, cheapos, to do what this does, I have to recommend it a lot!The only thing I can say to the negative about this hair dryer is that the bristles are not quite as long as the brushes I have always used, cheap or not. So, that might be a slight problem for some with extremely dense type 4C hair or even short hair that's fine and delicate like a cheap doll from the dollar store, you know, like mine cut short by a psycho toddler. You'd think teh shorter bristles on a brush would benefit short hair but in my experience that is not true. Nevertheless, I do like this hair dryer, think it is of great quality, all the functions work as they should, and would also make a good gift for those wanting a product like this.By the way, I took it to the Gold Is Us store to see if I could get a ring made for my other lonely ring and they showed me the door. So, heads up! (especially after styling your hair!)

Average Hair Dryer Brush
The Lura Hair Brush Dryer is lightweight and convenient but it also bulky with an awkward design. The brush bristles are short and it seemed to take more passes to dry the length of my hair. The hair dryer expels a good amount of (hot) air but it still takes awhile to dry my dense ethnic hair. However as previously mentioned by another reviewer, it did help to part my hair into smaller sections. As a result, my hair dried more evenly and my hair was a bit straighter. The brush is an attractive matte black color but the handle is very thick and holding it for prolong periods caused hand fatigue and cramping. This hair dryer has 4 settings (off, low, medium, and high) located at the base of the handle. Twisting the base, turns the dryer on and allows you to toggle through the other 3 settings. It is an awkward configuration in that you need two hands to adjust the settings of this dryer. This may not be an issue or requirement for others but I am a fan of one touch designs, ease of use, and simplicity. Unfortunately, this hair drying brush doesn’t score high in these categories but at a more basic level, it does get the job done. However with so many other options in market; I would opt to find one that is designed more efficiently and performs more effectively.
