Great little tool
Our city water company upgraded all of our water meters. We now need this tool to access the shut off valve. Tool appears to be durable and works as intended.

Perfect solution
Product does exactly what it claims. It fits perfectly on the 5-sided bolt for the water shutoff access. It is the perfect solution for a fantastic price.

Not the highest quality, but works flawlessly!
These look like they were cast in coarse sand. Also, the socket portion is slightly off center. If this was some sort of mechanic's socket, that might be a problem, but they are not, and they work perfectly! I bought 2 because of the great price. Put one in the toolbox, and one in the excavator. Hope to NOT ever need to use it, but when you are digging you never know. Especially since locate lines are often not correct...

Works on MLGW Water Meter Box
It works to open the water meter box equipped the the pentagonal key head. A loose fit, but it works.

Too small for my water meter box
The inside of the wrench measures about 7/8" (from the flat side to the opposite peak) while the bolt on my meter is a full 1". Measure the bolt on your meter before buying.
