Size:32 oz (1 Quart) with Hose-End Mixing Sprayer Just Scentsational’s Trident’s Pride Liquid Fish Fertilizer/Soil Enhancer by Bare Ground is an OMRI rated, all-natural cold pressed fish hydrolysate packed with vitamins, amino acids, microbes and enzymes and other nutrients that all soils and plants require for rapid, dynamic and optimal growth in place of chemical fertilizers while increasing the soil anti-oxidants, sugar content and earthworm population for aeration. Cold pressing insures that the beneficial active agents are not killed off and that the fish odor is kept to an acceptable minimum. Trident's Pride builds a strong and healthier soil, promotes earthworm growth and improves the plants ability to absorb nutrients from the soil. Suggested use is 4-6oz per gallon of water.

An Economical Fish Fertilizer
The benefits of fish fertilizer are far superior to urea, ammonia and other typical fertilizer products available to consumers. I studied amino acids and trace minerals in addition to microbes for my organic vegetable garden and have used several brands of fish and kelp products and have the conclusion that the results are nearly the same, regardless of the brand name.In my experience, dilute the product down to avoid burning, only apply to wet soil or water it in. I get great results using 1-2 Tablespoons in a 2-gallon watering can after irrigation or as a foliar by sprinkling the fish solution on the plants to wet the leaf surface.I used this fish fertilizer on my lawn and it also does a great job, the foliar uptake produces quick results and the fish oils improve microbial activity in the soil. I tank mixed the fish fertilizer with weed spray and it worked well as a surfactant (it rained three hours later) and the weeds were controlled better than just using the herbicide alone. A mix rate of 2-3 oz per 1,000 feet monthly is a great addition to your typical fertilizer program because of the amino acids and trace minerals.NOTE: These pictures are not staged for this review and were taken a few weeks ago (May/June 2019) as an example of healthy vegetable plants and green grass from using this fish hydrolysate fertilizer.*I just wish the company had better instructions of how to use their product (1-gallon per acre is hard for a consumer to understand). Four ounces per gallon makes a great foliar spray but can burn plants when used as a root drench (Neptune's Harvest recommends 1-oz per gallon of a similar product) and the label is not clear about application methods.

burnt lemon tree and fuchsia, purple new growth on flowers
Disappointed this fertilizer didn’t work well for me, the fertilizers oily residue still resides in my watering can. I’ve had more that a dozen plants either show tip burn , dieback, or nutrient problems. Work s fine on tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers but not good for many others! I’ll be going back to Alaska fish food, bills perfect fertilizer or Neptune’s harvest, I’ve never seen any negative effects to my plants while using those products..... I will be contacting the company , as a professional horticulturalist I can’t afford to use this product at clients houses, and am at a loss.

Plants love this recipe!
I've noticed a significant difference in my garden by using this fish emulsion. They seem to love this recipe. I have tried others and gotten fairly good results, but nothing like this formula. My tomatoes are out of control now! LOL... take a look! The first picture is when I first trellised them on 7/13/18. The 2nd picture was taken 7/29/18... only 15 days apart and after feeding them with the fish emulsion 3x! I like using organic products on my vegetables and so far, this has been the best not only quality, but price! Thank you so much for making an affordable organic product that really works!

Careful do not follow the directions for mixture the mixture is way to potent for vegetable gardens!
Great product but mixing ratio was extremely concentrated for vegetables burned them all not a single one did not get burnt. Do not exceed 1 to 2 tablespoons per gallon of water!

One of the best foods for the soil
Organic gardening smells a bit, but the plants and soil microbe life both love Hydroslate Fish Ferts so I will continue to use this (and Neptunes Harvest 2-4-1 version) over the salt/synthetic alternatives that destroy our planetEven my indoor plants get the good and stinky organics and they all thank me by getting bigger and producing more oxygen for my homeDepending on the plant, I'm using: 1/2 to 8 tablespoons of Bare Grounds Fish Hydroslate, 1.5 teaspoons Azomite dust, 1.5 teaspoons Black Strap Molasses, and 1/4 teaspoon Maxicrop Seaweed Powder for every gallon of water, feeding the plants every 1 to 3 weeks, using RO filtered well water between feedings... add a little Oyster shell flower if the soil needs pH buffering, or look into using a dash of Potassium Bicarbonate to raise the pH of the plant food a bit (if you use Peat based soils)Keeping our Aloe, Lucky Bonsai, Lavender, Holly, Christmas Cactus, Cucumber, Poinsettia, Snap Pea, Green Bean, Spinach, Kale, Strawberries, Tomato... the list keeps on going... all of the plants are happy, the fruit and veggies we grow have always been extremely flavorfulOrganics for life* Edit - I am now using this in rotaion with Dr Earth Pot of Gold All Purpose Plant Food made from "digested food materials"... basically liquid food compost in a bottle. I am also rotating out the Azomite every few feedings along with either "Sole water" (1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water) or Sea-90 minerals at recommended doses (1/4 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water)* Edit 2 - No more Maxicrop Seaweed powder for me, so I am now making my own Seaweed "juice" with 2.5 teaspoons of Kelp Meal (Neptune's Harvest) for every gallon of water and let it soak for 24 to 48 hours before adding the Fish Hydroslate or Pot of Gold along with Black strap, and micro/macro A to Z elements (things like Azomite, 84-Salt Himalayan Pink Salt "Sole" water/Sea-90 Sea salt Minerals)

Very Acidic!!!
WARNING!!! This product is very acidic! I started using this with pre balanced water and brought my pH way down. Good stuff but just be careful how you use it. I stopped using pH Down on feeding days.

Plants like it
I use it at 1/4 the recommended dose when I notice some yellowing, seems to do the trick. I haven't needed to use it at a higher concentration, but then it isn't the only amendment in the garden.
