The pitchfork was very well manufactured. Solid construction. I use the pitchfork for turning compost in a 2 foot deep compost pit. Strong enough to handle the weight of the compost that has to be turned. Would recommend to anyone who has a small farm or small garden that needs to be tended too.

Like any Ames product, this seems to be built to last. Helps me toss and invert my compost pile but I feel it is too heavy for my 70+ year- old body. Repeated swings of the fork take a toll on my arms. Ames could have made it lighter.

Only have been using it since the fall but, its built like a tank. Don't see it falling apart any time soon. It's a little big heavy for some in my family but I find it a good hefty weight with good balance.

I needed something to spread a couple cubic yards of mulch. I looked at a Craftsman at Lowes, but didn't want to pay the price. The Ames pitchfork proved to be just what I needed at a significantly lower price. I'd buy it again.

It is the right size for our compost bin

It made very well, easy to handle get the job done.

I like that i can use it to turn over my hardwood mulch. There isn't such a thing as a potato fork apparently so this manurefork was next best choice.
