Our unbleached bone is even harder than bleached white bone, and has a mottled cream vintage look. Its hardness and density contributes to good tone, it polishes well, and it allows more precise filing.Shaped saddles will save you a LOT of work—a head start for the novice, and a timesaver for the busy shop. The sizes have been carefully researched, and accurately radiused, so that minor trimming, slotting, and sanding are usually all you'll need to do.

Very Happy with this saddle from StewMac
Was looking for a saddle for my 2008 Martin HD28v, because I made a dumb move and broke the saddle. For a few years I used a saddle for a D18, which is not as wide. I lost some volume, tone and playing down the neck it seem to go dead at the 7-12th fret. While researching other saddles, I found out the differences between standard, wide and extra wide. Could only find a few extra wide saddles that where blanks or the StewMac bleached and unbleached. I ordered the unbleached saddle from StewMac and they wasted no time getting it to me. With a little trimming, about 5/16 from each side, if fit into the bridge slot just right, with no adjustments to thickness. String height is ok with room to adjust for lower action. My volume and tone improved enough to put a smile on my face. Playing down the next was improved also. Price is a little high compared to other saddles, but it was what I needed for my HD28v. Very Happy with this saddle.

Exactly As Described
A quality Martin styled compensated bridge saddle. The unbleached has a somewhat vintage look to it. The measurements were exactly as stated. Not sure the radius on this saddle. But it matched the existing saddle radius perfectly.
