YoLinkSmart Thermostat, Now Heat Pump Compatible, Android & iOS App, YoLink Hub or SpeakerHub Required

We own a condo which we rent out as a vacation rental. I wanted a thermostat that I could control remotely. Since the condo is already set up with Yolink devices, this thermostat was a no-brainer. But first, I bought one for my house to make sure it was easy enough for anyone to use. It's been great. Easy to use, has a nice display on it. Easy to program. Most importantly, easy for non-technical people to figure out how to use.

I got a lot of yolink products and am very happy with them. The thermostat was easy to install and integrate and control with the app.

Seems to be working correctly. The only gripe is the screen is very Brite at night. Its mounted in the hottest room in our home. Witch is in our bed room. I turned are low as it go's and it's still Brite. I love the point that I can turn it on from my phone.

The smart thermostat has been unbelievably helpful for me. The automatic function is by far the most convenient thing for me. I personally don’t like changing the temperature unless it’s really necessary so I’ve got it set up so that it doesn’t turn on unless it’s X degrees and I’m really freezing! I have roommates so it makes the process a lot easier for all of us, and most of all we don’t need to remember to turn it on and turn it off. This thermostat has DEFINITELY saved a lot of money with our electricity bills!Installing it was super easy. I got a hub and scanned the QR code of the thermostat, and it automatically added the device for me in my app. Transferring the wires to the new thermostat was pretty simple and explained well in the instructions, though my old one had a slightly different layout. And then after that I just set up what I wanted on my phone with the scheduling. Most of how I control it is through the phone, though once or twice its also nice to just directly go to my thermostat. Love the convenience of the smart tech.Honestly a great purchase decision that’s been really helpful for me. I’d recommend this product!

Requires the cloud, and the interface is quite outdated. Can't use it with home assistant offline. Ended up swapping this out for one that supports homekit.

I recently purchased and installed the Yolink thermostat. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Installation and setup was simple. The thermostat works with Alexa. I can simply ask Alexa to turn up the heat 2 degrees and the thermostat adjusts the temperature automatically. I'm in the process of replacing my existing smart home products to all the Yolink product line. I now have 48 Yolink smart home devices. The devices can be set up to communicate with each other to execute commands even if your home wifi goes down! On most other systems if you lose wifi you lose your smarthome!

Installation was straightforward, and the sleek design seamlessly blends with my home decor. I love LoRa technology as it's low power and long range. Much more stable and reliable than Wifi. You must have a Yolink Hub. I connect mine through ethernet so it's rock solid. I discovered Yolink by purchasing a temperature sensor to measure my pool water temp. I was so impressed, that I decided to give their thermostats a try.This thermostat requires a 24V Common (C) wire to power it (no batteries). My old thermostat used batteries so my blue (C) wire was not used. I did notice that the HVAC installer left the light blue wire coiled and stowed, so I simply connected it to the (C) terminal on my furnace's control board, and I was good to go.You can set everything manually or use the excellent Yolink app to access on your phone anywhere. It will be fun the next time I'm at work and the kids lower the AC to 65F and it magically goes back up to 75!
