Endoscope, Borescope Inspection Camera for Smartphone

It worked fine. I just hooked it up to my computer and it read as a webcam.Two minor complaints: 1) it does not hold a shape very well. It is just a wire and nothing that helps it flex and stay. 2) the lens seems to get a little dusty and you can't see, possibly an issue with all of them through.For the price, I think it okay.Update: after several uses, I found it very hard to position it or even know what it's position is to give context to what you are seeing. I will probably get a more ridge one in the future.

Useful tool! I used it to fish out a wire that had fallen into a hollow space. Couple of cons to be aware of - my Moto G did not recognize this as an OTG camera but had no problem using it with a Windows 8 laptop. No additional software was needed. The other issue is the focus is fixed. It would have been much more useful if it had variable or adjustable focus.

I needed this to look down a bore of a superconducting magnet. The small diameter and the fact it connects to my phone are just what I needed. However, the construction feels very cheap and the cover came off (luckily not into the magnet or I'd have had a serious problem). Most importantly, the cable is very flexible and cannot hold its shape at all. So any application other than looking down a bore (like looking behind a wall) will not work, unless you tie the camera to a rigid wire.

I guess for the price the camera is just OK, but the app they recommend is not very good and others I've tried aren't much better. Cannot adjust (dim/brighten) LED's from app, only from control on the cable, cannot focus if too close to an object, LED's always on as soon as you plug in the camera and USB as no indicator on the plug for proper orientation when plugging into the phone.

Bought this on a lightning deal so had to hurry to get the best price. Title said for smartphones so I bought it quick without reading the description because had several stars. But for Android only not iPhone. Will be sending back. 3 stars because I’m sure it will work ok

I downloaded the "CameraFI" app and it works great with my Android.The camera is clear and the LED is bright and the attachments are handy.My only minor issue is that the picture gives the impression that it maintains the shape that you bend it into. But it does not. The entire cable is floppy like a charging cable so its a bit difficult to push it into tight spaces and have it point in the direction you want.

Don't work on my computer but does on my wife's. Does not work on any of our three phones but does work on my tablet. When it does work, it seems okay although the picture is kind of grainy.
