I haven't worn any other brands or type of compression socks, only these particular ones. IT TOTALLY ROCKS!!!!!! Read the reviews on other brand and the various mmHg compression levels and just went with these. Background so you have an idea how I use these, I'm an office worker, sit/stand 50/50. when possible I work standing stationary at times 3-4hours. I did notice the difference when I started wearing these. No signs of fatigue. Surprisingly comfortable, better than wearing dress socks and in fact....stopped wearing them and bought more of these. I'm somewhat active/restless. Even wear these with a ankle holster over it, with no issues at all. Never slid down once, never got uncomfortable, feet perspiration normal. I've never tried or even used them for going to the gym which I go on a consistent manner. These are nice to wear with dress shoes. I'm 5' 8" tall, weighing 182lbs. My calves are exactly 15 3/4" in diameter and these fit great...not tight or loose and stayed up...all day long. Been wearing it now for over 4 weeks and I don't see any signs of heel wear, but will monitor it for durability in the heels and toe area. OOH... here's something about them. I know that sometimes when I wear regular dress shoes, my dress pants tend to cling to them now and then. These do not have THOSE problems. Maybe because it's not wool or something else that generates the static, but the dress pants I wear do not cling at all to these. Bought these at $13 for the six pairs. I haven't seen any signs or fraying at the edges or you know how you get like a thread line or two sticking out, just waiting for you to pull it and it makes the whole thing come undone? Well..haven't encountered that. Washed them several times and even though it looked like "they shrunk" after drying them out in high heat in the dryer,when I put them on they go on easy with no problems and doesn't feel like they shrunk at all....... Never heard of these Novayard brand that is stamped on the inside of the socks. I don't know whether the old saying is true or not, "You get what you pay for"....... Been to the gun range with them wearing the ankle holsters, gun shows, movies, 10 hour workdays, etc...and overall? And stinky feet? Well...My wife hasn't complained about them so far and so.........I am very, very satisfied with them.

I got these for a trip to Disneyland because I had gotten exercise-induced vasculitis on a previous trip where I did a lot of walking. I got two different kinds of compression socks before the trip to make sure I had a pair that fit right. These were the clear winner. They felt better overall, were slightly longer than the others to where they hit the perfect place on my leg right below my knee, and the top did not cut in while I was walking. I was able to avoid getting exercise-induced vasculitis and they were very comfortable the whole trip. I also swear my feet and legs hurt less at the end of the day than they would have without them. I love these and recommend them!

Fits perfectly. Quality fabric. Do not sag nor slide down one's legs.

They seem great quality, but I can't regard on the squeeze or fit because they're way too big for my women's size 7 foot.

I bought these to try out compression socks for running purposes. They are miles cheaper than other compression stockings, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that didn't help me. So far I've done a handful of runs in these and they work! They're not too hard to get on, so the compression isn't very tight, but I prefer it that way. Feet get sweaty of course, but I got used to this even in the summer 85'F midday heat. In the winter it'll be nice and warm I imagine. Size wise, I'm a 12.5 foot, 5'11' with long skinny legs, and that size fits me just right - sock goes up to just below knee. On the average leg it may be a bit more snug but probably not too much. Ironically, studies say they help with recovery and not when you are running. I have found the opposite is true for me. The second I am done, I want to take these off. If I wear then when running, my calves feel at least 30-50% less sore the next day than if I'm not wearing them during the run. They are annoying if I'm not running. Overall, they make everything feel good in the lower legs EXCEPT they compress my ever present heel bursitis a bit, but once I take them off, I'm fine. I don't know how long they will last, but for about $2.50 a pair, they are a steal.
