Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Case (2017) - Black

I have been trying to find a case that is a good fit between protection and not making my phone bulky. This is the 3rd case and is my favorite so far. Unicorn beetle does make good cases but the one that is like an otter box is too bulky and also makes it hard to hold onto my phone. The slim case they have is what I have been using up to this case and it was good but the rubber is stiff making the buttons hard to use. So far this case fits slimmer I like that it's rounded the rubber is a good material flexible yet strong, the buttons work wonderfully. The lip over my screen is a little shorter but it seems like it will still protect. I will add about how it protects as i continue to use it but so far it is comfortable to hold, fits well, buttons work great and I also like the design and look of it. Fits a Samsung S8 Active perfectly. It feels sturdy and yet, doesn't make my phone twice its size. It looks good, lines up with the buttons and holes perfectly, doesn't over-cover the screen, and isn't too hard to put on or take off. It's great. Usual Spigen quality that I've come to be quite fond of. Really pleased with it.Some reviews were saying that it's slippery and honestly, I don't understand that. Not sure what people are doing with their phones, but it slides into my purse or back pocket without me shoving it and I like that. I haven't had any issues with dropping it, either (though I do have a ring on it, so that's unlikely to happen).

This is exactly what it needs to be. The S8 Active is a tank. Solid metal body with a shatterproof screen. You don't need an otterbox defender here guys. What you need is a lightweight, low profile cover to protect your tank of a phone from scratches and dents. This does the job well. This adds little footprint, adds an additional lip above the screen, protects the body of the phone and adds a little grip. This also gives protection for the camera and fingerprint sensor on the back as they are sunken in a bit from the back of the case. For those who don't know, previous active series galaxy phones used fantastic glass screens but in a move to make the phone tougher they opted for a plastic shatterproof screen. This is great for making your phone harder to destroy, however it can and WILL scratch. Grab this guy here and slap a tempered glass screen protector on this baby and get back to work.

Great case high quality slim design at a low price. The case fits the Samsung S8 Active very snug making it feel like part of the phone and not something added. The product shipped quickly packaged accordingly and arrived on the promises date. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I was hoping for a case not as smooth. The phone itself is already hard to hold onto and I figured a case with give added protection with better grip on the phone. This was somewhat easily fixed by stippling the sides just in the area you hold the phone. Aside from that I am very pleased with the delivery fit and finish of this case and would recommend to anyone.

If you want a simple, streamlined case that isn't as bulky as Otterbox or other manufacturers, then consider purchasing this Spigen Rugged Armor for your Samsung Galaxy S8 ACTIVE. The precise fit was pretty amazing. The protection this case affords the already indestructible S-8 Active is excellent. My primary reason for purchasing this product was that original S-8 Active was too slippery in my hands. That can be solved with one of those round suction cup things you attach to the back of your phone, or just get an awesome case at an awesome price. Me? I went for the case and couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend this product.

Also, this phone holder has a hard time holding onto the phone good on bumps with this case on it.

I've owned several galaxy active phones, its always been tough to find a decent looking case for them. This spigen case looks amazing! It's comfortable to hold, slightly textured so it's not slippery, fits like a glove, and doesn't interfere with screen protectors. I bought a case because I didn't want to scratch my phone up but this case looks so nice now I'm worried about scratching it. Luckily the case material seems durable. Also the stupid bixby button has a milled texture so no more accidentally hitting that dumb button on accident.

Perfect fit. After one week of use: Buttons work well, ports large enough for charger, headphones, etc. Carbon accents look cool. The finish is smooth enough that it will slide in and out of your pocket without pulling your clothes, but rough enough that it doesn't feel slippery at all in your hand. It looks and performs well above it's price zone. I typically like a more protective case like an otter box or similar, but I feel like this case is perfect for this phone. It's the perfect all in one. If I'd paid twice as much I would still be stoked on the deal.
