I have used many times for saltwater fishing. The bag holds larger fish well. It is insolated well enough to keep ice for the duration of the fishing trip. I can usually fit 4 -10lb bags of ice easily. Cleans easily and does not retain the smell of fish in the material. A hose down and some mild soap clean it for the next use.

What's not to like? Does what it's supposed to!

Have yet to use it but it is very bulky, tried carrying it around empty and it takes a lot of energy lugging it around with the strap over the shoulder. Does have a trifold to easily be transported in cars. Very sturdy stitching and material. Can't wait to use it on fishing trips.

Bought for ice fishing and it appears it is more than required and we will try it for fresh water to keep live well clean and fresh.

Only it came with ice pack gel so I wouldn’t have to pack ice

Used this today for our fishing trip in Tahoe for the first time and it’s a decent bag for the price. I like it’s portability and it’s was soft enough to allow my kid to lay on it like a sleeping mat before we filled it. We were able to fit 25 KoKanee salmon and a full 16 lb bag of ice and there’s still plenty of room for probably a whole second bag of ice. I would say though it’s not completely leak proof. If it’s standing upright it’s definitely leak proof but if it’s laying on its side, expect it to leak right thru the zipper. If this detail was mentioned in the description I would’ve just spent the extra money on a completely leak proof bag. All in all it’s a decent bag for my first. Maybe later down the line depending on how this one holds up I’d consider upgrading.
