I got it today after a looong wait (about 1.5 months). It came from India. I was really excited to try it out..but it didn't work.I primed the boiling chamber with water as required and it doesn't seem to work. Everytime i add a little water, it seems to start making some minor water noises (no put put) and starts to move 2-3 inches and then stops. It looks like a defective item.What a waste of time and money..

At first the little boat worked wonderfully. We were extra careful to fill the pipes with water before each use, and followed instructions carefully, but it stopped working after only three uses. The interior of the pipes filled with rust, and a tiny hole appeared in the boiler so it stopped working all together. Such a disappointment that it broke so soon after its first use.

Performs as advertised , runs a long time on one filling

I bought this for myself because I have always been interested in steam powered boats like this one. It arrived on time and intact. The boat is visually appealing and the concept is great. I tried this little guy and I have to say I was happy with its performance. I had to make some adjustments to make sure the boiler wasn't too close to the candle otherwise the flame would burn out. I also made my own little candles out of parafin and wick. Make sure you prime the boiler before use. If you don't you will ruin the boiler. Adult supervision is required due to the use of fire and steam around water. Be careful and have fun.

Make sure the boiler is completely full of water to prevent burning solder causing boiler to fail. product fun and interesting, great educational tool hours of fun. Over all the steam boat is satisfactory, made from recycled tin, Have fun.

Like being a Kid Again

This little guy is too much fun! So clearly engineered, it puts across the water all by itself. Directions for replacing the wax candle would have been useful.
