3 Cards purchased and reviewed here
NOTE: I purchased 3 cards and am reviewing all three cards here with pictures included for your reference.Review #1 ~ Pirouettes Fairground CardI purchased a different pop up card for my wife (for Valentine’s Day) but wanted to get special cards for my daughters and mother-in-law, too. So, for my 5-year-old daughter, I thought the Pirouettes Fairground Card was a good choice. As expected, this card did not quite capture her imagination as much as I had hoped, but that is not really the fault of the card. The card opened nicely on the first try and looked really cool to the 47-year-old man who had purchased it, haha. My daughter on the other hand, thought it was cool for about three minutes and then went back to doing something else. Frankly, I think this card might have been a better choice for a child who was a bit older, but since I was getting pop up cards for my wife, my mother-in-law, and my 8-year-old daughter, I didn’t want my 5-year-old to feel left out. All in all, I have no real complaints with the card and thought that under the circumstances, it was perfect for the occasion and I do recommend it. I will say that after a few times of opening and closing it, the opening became a bit more difficult and the card parts didn't separate as evenly as they did the first time it was opened. Granted, I would imagine that the makers of the card didn't intend for it to be opened and closed too often - they probably expected it to be opened and closed 2-3 times max and then either displayed somewhere for a while or thrown away quickly.Anyway, my biggest advice with this card is that as much as possible, know your audience and adjust your expectations accordingly :-)4/5 stars, for the Pirouettes Fairground CardReview #2 ~ Pirouettes Travel the World CardMy 8-year-old daughter likes to travel and in fact, has a large canvas print of the Eifel Tower displayed in her room as well as a very large canvas print of a map of the world, too. So, this card choice was a no brainer for me for Valentine’s Day for her. In fact, of the group, I think it was the easiest one to pick out, quite frankly. As expected, my 8-year-old daughter LOVED it and has kept it on the nightstand next to bed ever since she received it. She had no problems opening it and from what I can tell, she probably only opened once or twice and then just left it open. I say that because it appears to me to be fairly symmetrical still with everything opened up right now. I’m extremely pleased with this choice and my daughter is, too.5/5 stars, for the Pirouettes Travel the World CardReview #3 ~ Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds CardMy mother-in-law likes to garden, and we have hummingbirds that come around and visit our house regularly. So, this card seemed like a good choice for Valentine’s Day for her, because she lives with us and I didn’t want her to feel left out. When I asked her if I could borrow it long enough to take pictures, she gave it to me in the envelope, so it wasn’t open anymore. That was fine, that meant I had the chance to open it up for myself and see how it went. It went fairly smoothly, but not as symmetrical as I would have liked. Granted, I’m not sure how many times it was opened and closed before I got to it, which could be a factor. Regardless, and as you can see in the pictures, it still looks rather nice opened up and I’m still quite pleased with the purchase, all things considered, which is to say, it was for my Mother-in-Law, so yeah . . . there’s that, haha.5/5 stars, Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds CardOne more note for the Pirouettes PS047 Hummingbirds card: I asked my wife to model the card and open it up for a video, which I also included with this review. The video is not perfect, but we did the best we could to demonstrate what it’s like to open the card and how it looks after opening. I hope you find that useful for deciding on whether to purchase one of these cards. Personally, I think these cards are cool and was glad to get them for all the ladies in my life because they are different in a positive way. Granted, only my 8-year-old seemed to LOVE her card, but I’m okay with that because it was pretty much what I expected any way and it was no fault of the cards.

Cool Card
This review is for Santoro PS044 Butterfly and Dragonfly Pop Up Card.I have gotten Love Pops cards for the significant other multiple times. While Love Pops are very nice, I found that other manufacturers are in the same field, and I wanted something more whimsical than Love Pops for the significant other's birthday. This card completely fit the bill. This card pops up with a slide mechanism around the periphery, which is really neat. The slide kind of snapped into position to keep the card locked up. The card does have a spot for a brief message, though very short messages can be added elsewhere on the card.Once open, the card has three-dimensional butterflies and dragonflies, along with an array of flowers. The base is rounded rather than flat, but the bottom is flat so the opened card remains stable. The only complaint the significant other had with the card, which she loved, was the price. Well, she is worth the price, I think! Our assessment of value compared to other competitive cards is average to above average. There are more expensive cards, and this card is complex and has a lot of detail for the value. Our overall rating is five stars. Okay, MY rating is five stars. The significant other thought I spent too much money (if only she knew how much some of the cards I have purchased for her in the past cost, she would stop complaining). I think for people looking for something kind of whimsical and different, this card is perfect.Enjoy!

Beautiful Memories
I love pop ups and was thrilled to find these very special cards. This brand and others ..My sister was dying of ovarian cancer. The pop ups gave her something to look forward to every day she was in hospice. She LOVED to travel, so this card represented all the great trips she took while fighting this ugly disease the last 3 years. She requested that it be included as one of the items in the offertory at her funeral mass. Thank you for helping make her days a little brighter.

Big hit
This was a birthday card. My wife and her friends loved it, it was a huge hit. There’s no good place to write a message on it. You need to write on the included envelope or else add a note. The card included a picture which I added to the envelope.Putting it together is mostly fitting some tabs in place which is easier if you find the instructions on the bottom. You can easily put this away and reuse it again another time

HUGE HIT for a 65th birthday card - SHE LOVES IT!
My friend turns 65 this year and I wanted something special - this really was perfect as they have hummingbird feeders all around their porch. She was thrilled with the card- and says she plans to keep it for a long long time. I wrote my greetings on the underside of it, so all you see after she put it together is the 3D card. I've never seen her so happy about a "gift" - this was so beautiful and exactly the right thing to lift her spirits during all the covid isolation this year. I highly recommend this card!

Nice but......
It's a nice card but it doesn't really fit in the envelope provided. The envelope is so small it bent the tiny hummingbird beak. Also, there's no glue on the envelope flap so you get to tape it if you want to mail it. The tape looks crappy and cheap. Because of that I hand delivered the card as it wouldn't have made it in the mail very well. I wouldn't buy this brand again unless the envelopes were better. It's kinda like paying full price and getting half the product.

A beautiful piece of paper art worthy of display long after the occasion
The engineering and art of these cards are nothing short of amazing, and the resulting display piece, if handled with reasonable care, should serve as a pleasant decoration for some time. The only problem you might encounter is the way Amazon ships it inside a flimsy plastic baggie. The card itself is sealed within a polybag with envelope, but any bends or creases will be immediately detrimental. They really should ship them in a flat, hard cardboard mailer.
