I have a few neck fans that help with hot flashes indoors, but outside in the heat they just blow hot air. I saw these and ordered a jumbo one to try, not expecting much. It's the bomb! It's very hot here in the summer and I'm outside a lot with my horse. This really helps cool me down and makes high temps tolerable. There's no sweat/condensation. Going to order a couple more for vacations as it cools for about an hour, maybe more depending on how hot it is. These will be great at Disneyland! The ONLY downside is the tab on the back. If my hair is up it gets caught in it sometimes. Ordering another one that does not have a tab, but if it doesn't work as well as this one, I'll buy another one of these instead.

I take medication that makes it hard for me to regulate my body temp ~ this is the best cooling necklace/wrap I have ever used! Yes, it might look kinda weird, but I mostly wear it around the house, so no big deal. If I wear it out, I usually wrap a scarf or cooling towel around it (dampen it first for best cooling!), and no one can tell it's there.Best things about it:If you put it in the freezer, it freezes solid in about 20 minutes!You can put it in cold water to get cooling (not as good as freezer, but not bad!), great for travel!very comfortable to wear.Cheaper and more effective than the expensive 'cooling bead' necklaces.The only bad thing I can say (and it's really no big deal) is that is sweats for the first few minutes out of the freezer. If you put in in cold water and use it, it doesn't. BUT, if you wrap a scarf or cooling towel around it, it absorbs and condensation!If you need a cooling necklace/wrap, you will not be disappointed!

A/c is not going to get us through this, so plan ahead and have a couple of these, already frozen, in your bag when you head out. They stay cold a pretty long time just in your bag. They cool the body down surprisingly fast. Also do a great job if you’re a hot sleeper, though you will have to get up a few times during the night and get a new one from the freezer. But you only need 2 total for that use since it’ll freeze solid in the time it takes the other one to get warm from use.

I saw this on a neighbor's neck who had nerve neck pain and I was impressed with how convenient it looked. Years ago a chiropractor told me to try ice on my neck to relief neurological pain caused by a faulty spinal tap that led to a blood patch procedure--which left me in chronic burning/inflammation/pain. I have struggled trying to find an ice pack of any sort that could comfortably sit on my neck--no luck--all too heavy and uncomfortable or cumbersome. I was even going to make a homemade pack to fit my neck--until I saw this. It really works to relieve pain. It thaws out relatively quickly which I figured it would--which is why I bought two at the first purchase. They are so comfortable I forget I even have it on or I just ignore it and don't bother to remove it until a few hours later when it is warm. I highly recommend it to anyone that has neurological pain or maybe even other types of pain if you have noticed applied ice on your neck relieves it. Buy two or four. If I had bought four, I would probably wear two at a time and see if that works even better.

If you are in a hot environment or if you are going through menopause or post-histerectomy, this is a quick way too cool down quickly. The ownly downside is it doesn't stay cold very long if you are if you are having amassive hot flash. But I like it.
