I've had a lot of phone mounts over the years and I have to say this one is one of the top ones. I've had the cheap ones that don't charge and fall out of the vent or don't stick to the dash. I've had the gimmicky ones that do wireless charging and have the motorized clamps to hold your phone in place. I've had problems with all of them in one way or another. Most of the time they fall out, while others just don't charge fast enough when using the phone GPS.This one has performed the best, but I'm not sure how much of that is chalked up to a great product versus the nature of MagSafe. Regardless, I've had very little to complain about. The magnet is quite strong. Almost too strong, as sometimes I feel like I'm going to rip the mount out of the vent. Thankfully, so far, it's held up nicely.The charging is the best I've experienced. Regardless of what I have running on my phone, I'm always getting a charge and when I hit 100%, I stay there. I have an iPhone 15, and I actually get most of my charging from this charger and have little need to charge overnight like I used to. Obviously that's due to the efficient battery of the iPhone and not the charger itself, but always getting a positive charge instead of a slow drain when using GPS is a....well, positive. :)I chose to mount mine in my vent instead of on the dash. The clip to mount to the vent is by far the best solution I've seen. Instead of just using a spring clip, it uses a tightening nut. There are lips on the bracket so when the mount is placed on the vent fin, you tighten the nut and it holds the mount very solidly in place. This is where my only real complaint comes in. In my experience, over time the nut comes slightly loose. This leads to the mount moving up and down with the vent fins instead of holding in place. Just tightening the nut (with your fingers, no tools needed) fixes it. It's not a huge deal, but when the magnet is so dang strong, you need that mount to be rock solid.Over all, this is honestly the best mount I've used. It charges rather quickly, no fiddling with sliding your phone in or out, and it's a very minimal design so it doesn't look ugly.I'd recommend it.

After trying two other magsafe mounts this one finally delivered. Strong magnet, mounts easily in my car vent, charges phone. Adjustments are not extensive but plenty good for my needs. I just appreciate it does what it advertises.

This OHLPRO Magnetic Charger Mount is exactly what I was looking for. Some reviewers complain that the charge is inconsistent. I purchased a decent coiled USB C to USB C cable to do the job rather than use the cable provided. I plug my coiled cable right into my phone as needed (for charging and Apple Car Play), rather than plugging the cable into the mount. I was in search of a mount that used a strong adhesive and also have a strong MagSafe attachment, not so much to charge my phone. I am also not a fan of vent clips. The heat coming from a car vent is not good for a cell phone, nor is it good for my phone case since it is a "Carved" case, made of real wood and resin. I read many reviews that the 3M tape doesn't stick very well so I fact checked on 3M's website and looked up the specific tape used for this product. 3M VHB tape means Very High Bond. It sticks just fine to textured plastic - which my dash is - and if you press it on firmly, then let it CURE for 72 hours - YES! 72 hours - it should be good to go! After 20 minutes, it is 50% CURED, after 24 hours it is 90% CURED. Have patience and leave it alone for a solid 3 days. Be sure you know exactly where you want to stick it, and have the angle all locked in before you actually "stick it". (The more you play with the pivot or angle during use, the more you take a chance on compromising the hold.) Once the adhesive touches the surface, you are committed to that spot. Don't try and move it. My phone case is MagSafe and my phone seems pretty solid on the mount. Railroad Tracks, pot holes, sudden stops... and the phone doesn't budge! So far I am happy with the product and its functionality. I also like how minimal it looks and blends in with the overall design of my interior (Nissan Murano). I ordered the dark gray. I'll update this review if something changes.

Quick charge, holds my phone really good, I love that I'm not always plugging in and unplugging cords.

Update: I just got a new phone and this time I tried getting a SPIGEN case that was Mag Safe compatible and the magnet strength is MUCH BETTER!!! So it must have been my crappy case before because the SPIGEN case has the magnets below the surface so nothing physically "lines up" like with my old case, but the magnet attraction is so much better! It doesn't come off randomly any more! Upgraded to 5 Stars!Used the adhesive for my install and it seems to be holding quite well. Even during a mild Canadian Winter. However, I have a Magsafe compatible case and the hold from the magnet isn't very strong. I thought it might have been just my personal opinion as I was thinking the magnet would "pull" the cellphone when it was close. I have to almost perfectly align the case and the holder for it to stick and I thought that was a bit weird. But my opinion was confirmed when I hit a moderate pothole and my cellphone fell off the holder. Luckily I have put it at a lower spot on my car so it only dropped a few inches, but if I had it mounted higher, there would have definitely been significant damage to my phone and with the way cars have protrusions everywhere, I could have smashed my screen.The holder looks nice and it does a good job of charging my phone so it's not TERRIBLE, but I wouldn't trust it to hold your phone securely if you live in an area with bad roads.
