it’s plastic, not glass, i was surprised to see that. it’s small even though i believe i got the biggest one. i use this for diffusing co2 into my 75 aquascape and it does the job correctly. the suction cup was a little difficult to get onto the first one, i actually broke it in two trying to get it on. but the second one was much better and slid on nicely. it sticks to the glass no problem and the bubbles are small enough for me. i have my drop checker on the other side of the tank and it’s reading the correct PPM so i can only assume the bubbles are getting dispersed how they should. i have it right under my filter outflow which helps a lot.

Very Efficient
The media could not be loaded. These bubbles are TINY. This diffuser is vastly superior to my old one ( small ceramic one from GLA, called "Lucid")Using in a 10 gallon tank, 30 psi, 1 bubble every 2 seconds is enough to turn my drop checker lime green. I did soak it for 30 minutes prior to use like the directions say.

An actual improvement in ceramic disk CO2 dispersers
The media could not be loaded. I can’t speak to whether or not customers may have received faulty product from earlier (or later?) versions or old stock, but I had excellent results right out of the box. (video – the Fzone diffuser is the one on the right)I’ve read a lot about slow-moving or discontinued items being promoted as “newer versions” in order to move old stock off the shelves, as well as companies compromising quality or materials to stay afloat in a distressed economy, which explains why I see so many disparaging reviews about newer iterations of the same product. The rating I gave this not an endorsement, but a simple account of my own first experience with it. I’ll probably buy another.UPDATE: Manufacturer responded to my inquiry about how to keep diffuser disk from getting algae clogged over time. They suggested couple of hours soak in citric acid solution. I substituted the citric acid for H2O2. Worked great. I'm guessing a soak in Flourish Excel might also work. I also read somewhere that bleach soak may dissolve the glue that seals the disk to the bulb.I previously used the Fluval mini-tire-shaped diffuser with good results, but they require more frequent unclog soakings, and bubbles grow larger as CO2 pressure drops, whereas bubbles remain consistently small passing through this Fzone disc, even as CO2 pressure begins to drop.I like these Fzone diffusers a lot for my D.I.Y. CO2 setups. I will be ordering more for my planted tanks. Also, they are made from a hard plastic, not glass. Not unbreakable, but less brittle than glass.

Didn’t work and Missing part
Did not work, did not have the suction cup that was suppose to be included. Would not recommend.

Easy set up and great atomization
Great quality with excellent atomization. It helped to get the hose hot by soaking in hot water to get it to squeeze onto the atomizer. Pairs perfectly with the FZONE desktop co2 system.

Works
Did the job, not top of the line, but great for the price

Works as expected
I really appreciated this item because it did what was expected. Sometimes you don't realizes unless you used product made by others. I bought a different brand but it failed after the timer cycled on again. This is a smaller unit for my small tank and it has been reliable for me and I appreciated that. No troubles and no worried.

When you just want something that works
The media could not be loaded. Prior to adding CO2 to my tank I did a ton of research. If you are in the same boat as me you’ve probably watched several videos and YouTube and read a bunch of reviews trying to figure out what makes sense. Well in the case of your diffuser option this is the one to use. No more research necessary. The FZone diffuser is made of acrylic and that makes a HUGE difference when it comes to adding your CO2 line. The CO2 line is a bit heavier and less pliable than your regular air line. The fit around the pipette is really tight to prevent leaks. With the glass diffusers it is really easy to break the pipette rendering them useless. This isn’t the case with the acrylic. I still had to use a little heat on the hose and then moisten the pipette but it was easy and the seal is tight.I had read several reviews that said to soak the stone first so I put the diffuser in my tank the night before I installed my CO2 and it worked fantastic right away. The video shown is the large unit and the amount of CO2 I’m getting in my 55 gallon tank at 3 bubbles per 2 seconds on my FZone regulator . The bubbles are a fine mist and distribute throughout the tank easily. I placed the diffuser in the back of my tank around mid tank where current from the outlet of my canister starts pushing the water down. This provides excellent distribution of the CO2. I really couldn’t be happier with this diffuser and FZone as a company. Their products are made to last and at a price that won’t break the bank.
