CRKT M16-14D Folding Knife with Liner Lock: AUS 8 Triple Point Serrations Blade, Aluminum Handle w/Liner Lock, Reversible Pocket Clip, M16-14D

I've purchased twice from CRKT (Also the M16-14ZLEK), and so far I'm very impressed with the craftsmanship, functionality and style of knives they are producing. They don't quite open with the speed of other knives like a Kershaw. However, when you do place your finger on the lever exactly the right way, the quick opening is much smoother than those other knives, which is nice. The locking mechanism is a major upgrade as well, and it's not difficult to release one handed, once you've figured out the right hold and movement with your fingers. It is a little bigger EDC (which I like), but fits very nicely clipped into a pocket when carried. I have not used these knives in any harder working capacities yet, so that I can't speak too. But, based on everything else, I anticipate they do well. Lastly, the company has great customer service if you ever need anything! I'll definitely be looking for more CRKT knives moving forward!

Love these knives. The M16 series are by far my favorite in the CRKT catalog. So much so that I own two others, the 14t and the 04s. All of them great. Solid, well built and not too heavy for such a large folding knife. Plus the copper desert color scheme on this one is absolutely gorgeous. Action is smooth as butter and the blade plenty sharp right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Beautiful knife. Strong, heavyweight, smooth flipping action. Nice steel blade, very sharp. Dosnt come with the other clip. Also what pissed me off is after I bought the knife the price dropped from 58 to 47 dollars? What up with that haha. Other than that it’s a great knife. Would not recommend for EDC unless you like big knifes.

Very sturdy knife and keeps a good clean edge. The finish is very hard to remove by accident, so it holds up very well. CRKT is a very good knife and tool company that takes care of their customers with high quality products! I specifically like the 'LAWX' feature to lock and unlock the knife. It is easy enough to use once you get use to it after a couple of tries. The size of this one may be restricted in some work environments, but I prefer it as a seld defense weapon to an everyday box cutter.

This is a good knife for defensive purposes. The tanto blade is good for slashing. The action is smooth, and the blade is easily deployable via the thumb stud or the flipper. I prefer using the flipper. The blade locks up well. The weight isn't too bad for a well built knife of this size. I would prefer a different blade finish or at least a more durable type with the same color. After my first cut into a box, the blade finish was substantially marred. Overall, this is a good blade and I would recommend it to others.

This is my third CRKT M16 series knife I’ve purchased. My very first one got stolen, so I bought a bigger/better version (M16-14SF), I believe. Love em. I’m not big in to knives, but prefer to keep one for daily use on numerous things and these are it. Can’t beat em for the price. They’ve increased in price (about $20 more) since I bought the first one around 15 years ago and the packaging has gotten slightly cheaper (no tool or extra pocket clip/screws), but for the price point, I think they’re unmatched. My second one is still strongly in service and is a work horse. I had a gift card and wanted another and loved the way this one looked…it didn’t disappoint. Action is smooth as butter, lockup is crisp and tight and honestly, I like the extra locking safety. Clean em up and oil em every once in a while like any other tool and they last.

It's a real pocketful with the nearly 4" blade, but fits fine in all of my pants pockets. People look twice and their eyes get big when they see this thing snap open. Arrived razor sharp, color looks good, finish seems durable. The extra locking feature is overkill, but it only takes a few minutes to learn how to quickly fold it with one (right) hand. The location of the release prevents left handed closing--no big deal for me. I liked it so much that I bought another one to stay in the truck.

I had owned one of the knifes before and gave it to a friend, since I got rid of it I have had nothing but regeat and could find none that could compare, so I had to get a new one. This knife has to be the best I have ever owned. The operation is so smooth and easy, durable lightweight material, weight distrobution is almost perfect. The material of the blade is excelent your edge seems like it never goes dull. Would recommend to everyone if your looking for a good, trust worthy knife.
