This is actually good material for tying up streamers and filling for other types of lures. Really easy for tying as well. The only reason I didn't give five stars is material quantity.

Great rotary vise , turns smooth , no wobble , holds hook tight , why pay 5 times as much for a renzetti when this one works just as good . Excellent purchase price, cannot find anything bad to say about it .

This is one of a few things I don’t buy in as fly shop, just because it’s available so much cheaper online. I will say, you should always support your local fly shop when you can. But don’t go broke doing it. I’ve used many of these types of twisted crystal flash and outside of some very (very) minor details they are all about the same. I can’t speak for all of the Amazon ones cause these are the only packs I have bought, but I’ve been tying with the for a couple weeks now and they work perfectly fine. When I run out (which will take awhile considering how much you get here) these are the ones I’d buy again. One thing I will add is that almost all of the colors have a chartreuse/green hue to them. The only exceptions to that I believe is the black and the silver. It’s much more noticeable in the pack, once they’re tied into the fly they look fine. But it is there. if your looking for a good way to save a couple bucks at the tying bench these are a great option.

The color combinations are a little different from the mainstream hairline products, but quality seems to be on par and you don't have to break the bank getting a variety. I highly recommend this for fly-tying.

So first off i guess i should say this pack is AMAZING!! You get 10 amazingly bright flash colors for the cost of maybe 2 colors from the fly shops. That alone is great for me. I tie about 5-10 flies a day. Everything from size 18 dry nymphs all the way up to the largest clousers i can.This flash is a bit thicker and stiffer than some of my other stuff i have gotten from other shops. Im not sure how it will change the movement in the water, but i don't think it will be that bad. I don't mind this that much, as it will definitely last a few more bites. With that said, i think i still will use my softer thinner flash for my nymphs. This flash is going to be a bit too stiff for small flies.Quantity wise i would say this pack came with a good amount, but not a ridiculous amount. All 10 colors combined equal about as much as 3 (maybe 4) normal flash packs i would get from my local shop. Not bad overall but a bit smaller of bundles than i thought.Again the cost alone is equal to about 2 normal packs of colors, and quality is equal to a bit over 3 normal packs. But you get 10 colors. So win in my book.I will probably be ordering another few packs in a month or two when this pack is gone. Good product, now lets see how it ties.Good luck, and tight lines.

Colors are strong and easy to work with making pompano teasers. Each color was good for a dozen teasers. Made them on size 1 and 1/0 hooks.
